Farm stay & animals on beautiful country property

Come and stay at our working farm. You will stay in the newly remodeled apartment. You will have views of the beautiful property. There is a seasonal pond with ducks, fields with Texas Longhorn cows, fields with Scottish Highland cows sheep. There are also chickens that lay eggs for a fresh breakfast. They are for sale in the farm store. The cows love visitors and getting brushed and fed treats. There is a large man-cave with a pool table, X-Box and bar. Door can be rolled up for outside fun.

Cob House (Earth Home, Hot Tub, Garden, River)

The Cob House is a one-of-a-kind, hand-built retreat crafted from sand, clay, and straw—just like they did centuries ago. This cozy, retreat offers a peaceful escape into nature with all the comfort & privacy you need to unwind. Inside, with a queen-sized bed, a AC/Heater and coffee & tea & snacks. The private deck is clothing-optional. The hot tub to soak under the stars. Between each stay, the space is saged to refresh the energy and welcome you anew. Come as you are. Leave feeling renewed.

The Little 1880 Cottage

The 1880 cottage is cozy and comfortable in historic Independence. A non smoking house. The house is 500 ft from the free Trolley stop that go to the historic downtown town by the Willamette River: amphitheater, restaurants, theater, museum, art, and music. Stroll along the scenic river in Riverview Park. The cottage has a BR with a queen-sized bed, a double sized futon couch in the living room. The kitchen is large, but no dishwasher. A deck off the back porch. A fun welcoming to town.

Paradise on Private 15 Acre Wildlife Sanctuary

The Craftsman cottage is on a private 15 acre wetland providing excellent views of a wide range of birds and other wildlife. French doors open to a deck and huge yard that meets the wetland and walking path around the ponds. Less than 2 miles from the house, enjoy kayaking and walking the Luckiamute Landing Trails at the confluence of the Luckiamute, Santiam and Willamette rivers. Relaxed open design, vaulted ceilings, queen beds, wifi, smart tv with Netflix, full kitchen and coffee bar.

Our Hideaway studio is a cozy, recently renovated studio suite located within walking distance of downtown Salem, the state Capitol, and Willamette University. The Hideaway has total privacy, with your own entrance, full bathroom, kitchenette, and washer & dryer. Our neighborhood is close enough to downtown to enjoy walking to local restaurants, shops, Riverfront Park, and more. The I-5 freeway is a 5-minute drive from our home, making it easy to get to neighboring cities.

Town n Country

Modern farm cottage located on our 2 acre lifestyle block for you to relax and enjoy our farm scenery. On the property we have chickens, rooster and ducks that roam freely. We want you to enjoy your stay and we welcome you here at the cottage. Cottage sleeps 4 guest max. If you need anything or there is a problem we are close by in the main house on the property. We take great pride in our cottage. Everything laundered and cleaned after each guest.

No checkout chores and pets stay free :) A beautifully unique cedar craft home on small acreage on the edge of town, this ground floor guest suite has all the amenities of my favorite hotels, like Hyatt, Westin and Marriott. This rustic-modern space has a kitchenette, fridge, freezer, filtered water, microwave, hot plate, toaster and several coffee makers. Deer are daily visitors, along with a variety of wild birds and many other friendly critters.
