Beachfront holiday rental in iLembe District Municipality

This is an excellent house in an excellent location of the northern KZN coast. Beach is a small stroll away and the house is designed in a very functional way, with a big common area but very private bedrooms. One of my best finds on AirBnB.

The house has amazing ocean views and the sound of the waves was a beautiful background to our stay. A few steps from the beach, we had a wonderful time.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – A Stay We’ll Never Forget! This was hands down one of the most incredible places we’ve ever stayed! From the moment we arrived, everything felt like a dream. The views? Absolutely to die for. Waking up to the most breathtaking sunrises and dolphin sightings—it honestly felt like a slice of paradise. The home itself was immaculate and beautifully designed. But what truly made the experience unforgettable was our host. She went above and beyond every single day—bringing us fresh coffee each morning (yes, really!), aand treating us with such genuine kindness. Nothing was ever too much trouble. It felt less like staying at an Airbnb and more like being welcomed into someone's lovingly cared-for haven. We’ve stayed in many places, but this one? It’s something special. It’s the kind of place you start planning your return to before you've even left. Can’t recommend it highly enough—we'll absolutely be back 💃

Douglas our host is fabulous, always a message away alongside Thulani our caretaker who lives on site while maintaining privacy for us guests. The facilities are more than perfect for us three adults and we slept like babies. Book the house and you will be blown away. Thank you for having us, we will come back again.

Thank you Chad for a great stay ! The location of your home is perfect and the views from the house overlooking the sea and lagoon are spectacular. It was very peaceful sitting on the deck watching the sunsets. The kitchen was well equipped but lacking a dishwasher. Overall a great experience !

We had an amazing stay at this gem on the Dolphin Coast! The apartment is beautiful and perfectly located—just steps from the beach and tidal pool. The sea views are breathtaking, and we loved spending time on the verandah overlooking Chakas Rock. It’s ideal for a couple or small family, with everything you need for a relaxing, self-catering holiday. The complex is safe and quiet, with restaurants just around the corner. Highly recommended for a coastal getaway!

Janine was very helpful, reaching out before our arrival and asking if we needed anything. She was timely in addressing requests we had, and accommodating additional asks we sent her way. Spectacular views and very secure estate . Apartment itself is very well equipped and really is a therapeutic getaway would definitely recommend this place if you want to escape the hustle and bustle. Host are very responsive and accommodate most requests . The welcome board is a good touch good gesture.

Wow wow wow! We just got home from our Easter family vacation and we were so sad to leave, the impeccable views, it really felt like home. We had the most amazing stay. The house was beautiful. The house, the interior, the outdoors, the beach access, the beds, Goodness and Owen, I can go on and on. I really would like to come back there again. My family and I loved every second of it. (We only had an internet issues) however we did know that there weren’t any WiFi. I would highly recommend this accommodation. Vanessa thanks for sharing your amazing home with us. My family and I enjoyed our stay at La Mer No4. The unit is clean,spacious and so stunning with all the modern finishes and homely touches. Thandi was so warm and welcoming and kept the place so neat and tidy. Thank you for a wonderfull 10 days stay. The caretaker was always there to help and very friendly. Flat was neat and clean. Area is very quiet. Walking distance from beach. Brenda thank you for our stay at your place.

We had a great relaxing family weekend away in this amazing space. Wish we could have stayed longer. The short walk directly onto the beach via an access controlled gate allowed us to enjoy the beach. The private pool was put to good use on returning from the beach to get away from the wind. The house is spacious with a great layout. Our host Elsie was great. We will definitely be back!

Great weather, nice and sunny in the Dolphin coast. Quick and easy access to the beach. Lovely unit, it was clean and the essentials were provided. Quite a few steps going up and down if you don’t want to take the long way around and up the unit. The host was very responsive when in need. We had a good time. No complaints.

Stunning place with great view. Comfortable furniture and good quality linen and towels. Would have liked an aircon for the living areas/ kitchen. Exactly like the photos.

STUNNING STUNNING!!! My husband and I stayed here for a few nights and were blown away by the views , amenities, decor and layout of this place. We enjoyed a lekker braai for sunset after our walks and swims on the beach that is just a short walk away to the beach access gate. We were lucky to see dolphins every morning while drinking our coffee and the location is just perfect , really close to resturaunts and supermarkets. The hosts were in contact and kept us updated when the areas power went out and were quick to respond with any questions we had. If you are looking for a relaxing and gorgeous place with exquisite views then I highly highly recommend this place. We will definitely come back! Thank you!
