Studio apartment at the foot of Wartburg

Entire, independent studio, 52 square meters, with well-equipped, integrated kitchen, hallway and bathroom. The location is ideal if you want to explore Eisenach, the Wartburg or the hiking opportunities on foot. (Bachhaus Museum, market and Luther House 10-15 min., Wartburg: about 35 minutes (forest path), train station: about 15 minutes Hiking: The forest begins right behind the house and many hiking opportunities are in close proximity. I am happy to provide tips and information. The windows of the studio face the courtyard, which is partly green and serves (largely) as a parking lot. Various restaurants and cafes are on the way to the nearby city center (about 6-10 minutes' walk). The surrounding southern quarter is the preferred residential area of Eisenach and is worth seeing for its many Art Nouveau villas alone. In winter, the historic Christmas market on the Wartburg is a special experience (on all weekends in Advent). If the nearby Prinzenteich (2 min.) is frozen, it is visited by young and old for ice skating! The studio (non-smoking), which consists of a large room with integrated kitchen, offers space for 2 people (1.40 m x 2.00 m) on a comfortable sofa bed. Since inquiries keep coming, there is now the possibility of a 3rd sleeping place on a guest mattress. Coffee and various types of tea are freely available. Linens, towels and hair dryers are provided. Also of course: rinsing utensils/dish towel, toilet paper, soap, shampoo/shower bath. Guests arriving by car have a private parking space right in front of the entrance. Notice: actually the studio is not available on Wednesdays, (arrival Wednesday-evening is sometimes possible). Exception: school holidays. Note: With the exception of Thuringian school holidays and public holidays, the studio will not be available on Wednesdays from 4 PM to 6 PM. If your stay includes a Wednesday, you will receive a delicious breakfast as a small compensation. Just let me know your preferred day before arrival.

Neighborhood over the bridge

The apartment was renovated according to ecological renovated from an ecological point of view and has an ingenious indoor climate (clay walls, solid wood floors). It is quietly located and only the sound of the Werra can be heard when the windows are open and lulls you to sleep. From all windows, the apartment offers fantastic views of the Werra/bridge or the old town. The rooms are lovingly furnished. On request: Booking for 1 night and for only 1-2 people possible with additional cleaning and energy package.

Treffurt has a very special charm with its beautiful castle, narrow streets and timber frame. The district of Schnellmannshausen belongs to Treffurt, "Schnelli" as the locals say here, is located at the foot of the Heldrastein, which is considered the most beautiful viewpoint in Thuringia. We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air, free spirit and are open to guests. The bakery with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and timeless comfort is located separately on the property. Next to the residential building (40 m away) is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophise, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, pure reduction! Adventure instead of luxury.
