This is a cozy Japanese style house with modern conveniences of updated kitchen and bathroom. If you want to experience what it’s like to live in Japan, here’s your chance! Your home away from home in Kyoto. This is an entire home rental for max 6 person stay. There are three (3) bedrooms on the 2nd floor: 1 doublebed (1-2 person) + 2 Tatami rooms with 2 double mattress futon beds (2-4 person). We also have 2 additional single mattress beds. A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!

There are air conditioners in bedroom and livingroom.
