Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Idanha-a-Nova

An excellent house inserted in a magnificent place. To repeat and stay for more days. I recommend nothing to point out.

Located in one of the most beautiful and iconic historical villages of Portugal, Casa Adufe is part of Villa Houses, located right in the cobblestone top area of Monsanto. Very clean house, with all needed amenities, perfectly working air conditioning and fantastic taste in terms of decoration. The host was extremely nice and clearly shows her passion about her Villa Houses. Will definitely return as soon as possible!

We had a wonderful stay here. Initially we had trouble finding the location, but the hosts were in constant communication with us and helped us find the AirBnB. The property has a lovely courtyard with amazing views of the surrounding mountains and a nice sheltered BBQ, which we were free to use. The swimming pool was an amazing bonus too! Inside the property was immaculate and well stocked with the basics (fruits, tea, coffee, cheese, ham, juice). The host offered daily bread delivery so we didn't have to worry about breakfast. It was a very comfortable stay and we really enjoyed our time in Monsanto.

The view makes it, it's amazing! And the large, covered terrace was our favorite place to be. The inside was fun too with the rock walls, old iron decorations and antiques in lighted alcoves. Great shower, comfortable beds and useful kitchen. Bread each morning was a treat, plus the meats and cheese, butter and jams. Our only challenge was locating the place when we lost gps in the narrow streets. I suggest you study the route before taking off so you'll know the way if the same happens to you. It really was easy once we figured it out. Also know that the host will communicate via another app (commonly used) when giving location, etc. I had messaged 2 days before arrival and then called the day of when getting no response. But don't let these things keep you from choosing this place, it's a once in a lifetime experience, you won't regret it. I doubt there's a better place in Monsanto!

Many games, books and full kitchen to spend Christmas. The house was in a quiet region but it had everything around. Exactly what we were looking for. Thanks for all the reception and affection. We already want to book for next year. It was a pleasure to spend Christmas in Proença - a-Velha.

Originally we were planning to go to Boom festival and were looking to rent a house nearby. It turned out that the house was much better than the festival. The property is authentic and beautiful. The house is full of history and every detail is so special. We really enjoyed our time inside and outside on the patio by the swimming pool. The kids were absolutely happy there! The kitchen is so well equipped. The living room area is stunning. The bedrooms are super comfy and the air conditioner did its job providing a refreshing coolness. Highly recommend to everyone! Thanks to to the super friendly and welcoming host!

Perfect place to rest. The estate offers a lot of activities and nearby there are always beautiful areas to explore. The house was super clean and very well equipped with everything that was needed. Coming back without a doubt

The house matches the description, with everything you need and is located on a land with olive trees that is a real luxury. Tranquility in an area of Portugal that we did not know and surprised us by its nature and the beautiful villages it has.

Arya and I had a great time with Zarah, her friends, and all the dogs. I really appreciate the hospitality, we were made to feel right at home. It was so much fun to have your company, I also appreciate you working hard to welcome me. We will definitely be back, highly recommend it. I arrived very late at night, and Zarah was always in touch with me to help, and was very friendly and helpful. The place is very beautiful, the trailer is very private, and the views are amazing. The will is to stay longer, very cozy. It was a very pleasant weekend. I loved meeting everyone, and hope to see you again soon! x

My two friends and I absolutely loved Joao's place! It is one of the most unique airbnbs we have ever stayed in, built on the side of a mountain with a fabulous view off the balcony. It was comfortable and quiet. The town of Monsanto is also incredibly beautiful and unique and everything is in walking distance. I would love to return to Monsanto and would definitely stay in Joao's place again.

We stopped at José's for one night, my two children and I to rest during our trip. José and his mom were lovely and welcomed us despite the late hour. I enjoyed the calm, cleanliness and comfort of the studio. I recommend this place when you are visiting. José and his family are really nice people with great hospitality. I recommend it 100%. Friendly hosts. Very spacious and clean house. Comfortable bed. Clean linens. Great wifi. Nice atmosphere. Amazing place for those looking for peace of mind.

A very quiet place perfect for taking a break during a hectic trip. Very nice well-equipped accommodation in the Portuguese countryside. I would recommend this place as a rest stop.
