The building is old, but the room you stay in is renovated. It is 10 minutes by express train from JR Nagoya Station and 5 minutes on foot from Owari Ichinomiya Station, so it has good access. It takes about 50 minutes to get to Meitetsu Ichinomiya Station from Centrair without changing trains. JR Gifu Station is also 10 minutes away, making it convenient for sightseeing when using this as a base. The living room on the first floor is about 40 ㎡ and the bedroom on the second floor is about 30 ㎡. There are about 3,000 manga books in the living room, and you can't watch broadcast TV, but you can watch Netflix, so it's also recommended for longer stays. The bedroom has 3 single beds, 1 bunk bed, and 3 futons, accommodating a total of 8 people. The single bed mattress is "Serta", the futon mattress is "TEMPUR", and the comforter is feather, so you can sleep comfortably. Ichinomiya City is famous as Oshu Ichinomiya, one of the world's three largest producers of woolen fabrics. In the neighborhood, there is Re-TAiL, which utilizes the former Textile Hall, where you can buy special yarns and fabrics that are not generally available, as well as tailors run by textile factories. The shopping district is also adjacent, and Shinseida Shrine is also close by, so we recommend sightseeing in the neighborhood.

I came to Gifu in 2018, I think it was it’s unpretentiousness that attracted me . The people here seem relaxed and easy going, hospitable and very much in love with their hometown which in the Gifu park area retains much of the (Kyoto like) feeling of traditional Japan with it’s castle and a host of well maintained shrines. I don't think many people have heard of Gifu, even Japanese people, inspite of the Great heritage sights like Shirakawago, beautiful mountains and clear water rivers!
