We enjoyed having a modern house to suit our needs with multiple spaces to be in. Was extremely clean and tidy. Great house!

We had a wonderful time staying with Simon and Kerry - the apartment is just as described and had everything we needed. It’s very close to the cafes and restaurants of Penola, but very peaceful. We also did a winery tour with them and loved every minute! Would highly recommend for anyone looking to visit the Coonawarra wine region.

Camawald is a beautiful piece of paradise, just outside of Penola. John and Sue are fabulous hosts and it was fascinating to hear about the history and development of the stunning botanical garden they have created. The cottage is surrounded by the gardens and as it is autumn now, the colours were stunning. Then there's the cottage which was superb and everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay with our dog. There were generous homemade provisions for us plus items for a full breakfast. We did visit some wineries but couldnt wait to get back home and enjoy the peace, tranquility and beauty of Camawald. Look no further!!

This was my second stay at the cottage and it didn’t disappoint. Loved the relaxing bath and rain shower. Super close to the pub, Main Street and beach. Would love to stay again and highly recommend.

Didnt want to leave. From the moment we arrived it felt like home. While the place wasnt perfect, the things that generally matter were. Every creature comfort of home was there. The beach is a short stroll or even shorter drive. The neighbours and general community are friendly. The area is quiet and the stars are very bright. Rooms are all bigger than expected. Biggest negative was the pump which was very loud in the bedroom with the triple bunk bed, but we all slept through it running no problems.

We loved The Loft. A beautiful home with every convenience. Lovely furnishings and decor, comfortable beds, and an exceptionally well-equipped kitchen. The location is peaceful and quiet with a short drive or a healthy walk the downtown shops and jetty. Also a short drive to the spectacular western shoreline which was amazing. Pim and Belinda were superb hosts - clear, communicative and friendly. I don't think I've ever been in a place that has been as well equipped for guests and felt like a comfy home away from home. We loved it and we would love to come back again.

Very comfortable and clean little cottage. Couldn't believe how comfortably cool the cottage was even with windows open in the warm weather (without using a/c). Located in a lovely quiet small street. Garden was nice and well kept. short easy walk to main shops and eateries. Plenty of cooking utensils and lovely continental breakfast provsions supplied. Would highly recommend for a stay in Naracoorte. Thanks Marie.
