This Earthen house is made of sand, straw and clay. Nestled in a valley it is a peaceful and unique getaway. The cabin has four comfortable single beds and electricity, a wood stove for winter. Outside a fire pit and grill. A hand washing sink inside; and port-o-let toilet outside. You may be able to drive in (weather/road condition depending). (maps for Amish tours located in the cupboard) We have Wild Cat Mountain State Park, 4 miles away for horseback riding, hiking trails, and a scenic overlook. As well as the Kickapoo Wild Life Reserve in Lafarge. There is Canoe, Kayak and tubing rentals at the Kickapoo River 3 miles away. Elroy-Sparta Bike trail is about 15 miles away. We are located off of Highway 33 between Cashton and Ontario WI.
