Tranquil, country wildlife retreat

Our fully self-contained guest suite is located above our farmhouse offering rural tranquility, privacy, security and a stunning view over the surrounding countryside. Set on 10 acres, we have a herd of fallow deer, sheep and ponds with resident families of wild ducks. We are constantly adding native plants and trees to the setting. We have all the benefits of the countryside - peaceful open spaces, and ready access to the coastline, beaches, forests and rivers of North Canterbury.

Located at the front of Alpine Springs Motel, this spacious one-bedroom unit is tidy, comfortable, and ideal for a relaxing stay. It features a front porch with outdoor seating and lovely mountain views. Enjoy your own private hot tub. Parking is right outside, and it's a short walk to the golf course and nearby attractions. Please note: this unit is located on a small motel complex, so while your space is private, the surroundings are shared with other guests.

Check in no later than 8pm. Ash House is a rustic & cozy "Glamping Hostel" located in a rural area. (No smoking anywhere on the property). This (private) sleeping room has a double bed partitioned from 2 sets of bunk beds and attached to large SHARED bathroom (2 showers, 4 toilets). NOT SUITABLE for children under 4 years. Access to a fully equipped (shared) kitchen via covered veranda. Swimming pool (November to March) & limited WiFi access.i
