Holiday rentals with beach access in Huila

This is the most authentic place I have ever been. Carlos and Lucia are the sweetest hosts. Although we didn’t speak the same language they tried everything to give me the best experience from google translate to even calling Lucias daughter. They showed me on photos what the place was like when they moved there. They build it completely from scratch. Amazing to see how much love they put into it. Their garden is like a fairytale. There is so much to watch from the plants to the birds. I loved my stay here. One day I’ll be back hopefully talking Spanish with them. Only thing to keep in mind: the road to the house is bumpy so get yourself a good car.

We had an excellent stay. The host was super responsive, quick, clear, and helpful with every question we had. The apartment was spotless, modern, and fully equipped. We loved the rotating TV, great for watching from the kitchen. The bathrooms were spacious and clean, and we had plenty of closet space. The building staff were friendly and professional. Check-in at reception was fast, and getting into the apartment was easy. We enjoyed the rooftop pool and gym, both were in great condition. The neighborhood felt safe and quiet. Boulevard del Río was just a 15-minute walk. We like to run, so it was perfect for running, grabbing a bite, or walking the river. We were surprised by how much was nearby. There’s a short uphill walk to the building, but transport was easy to get. We also walked to Cerro de las Tres Cruces in about 10–15 minutes. We’d definitely stay again. Highly recommended!
