What a wonderful place! If you're on a budget and want some where super clean, super comfortable, very chill and right on the most beautiful beach, in front of the incredible blue water, this is it. Even better if you have dogs travelling with you. Ours loved the stay as well - one is a cat chaser so had to be kept under control while outside, but was able to relax inside our room, and run free on the beach. The hosts are great - there to meet you and show you around, and then melt away to leave you to enjoy the peace. The house is old - traditional brick with wooden frame, but for such an old place, it's nicely decorated and kept sparkling clean. No mosquitoes, no bugs. Comfortable mattress, and the space is large enough to stretch out and relax. Bonus is the lovely courtyard with picnic tables, and of course, the beach, right out in front. Be prepared - it is right under the takeoff path of the jets, but we didn't find that a problem.

Kevin’s parents were amazing hosts. So thoughtful and kind. So enjoyed quiet and peace of countryside after hustle and bustle of city. Loved seeing fireflies!

The homestay is clean and there are many toys and Netflix, the children are very happy to play with, and the owner is very enthusiastic and super nice . There is a whole row of parking spaces across the street, there are not many homes around, and there is a police station next door that is super safe. I'll stay here next time in Hualien

Upon entering, you walk downstairs to the bathroom, while upstairs, you’ll find a bright and cozy living room and bedroom. The overall vibe is very comfortable. The host was incredibly friendly and gave us great recommendations for local attractions. My husband and I had a great stay. After stargazing, the best thing was coming back to a warm room with a strong hot shower and an electric blanket, making the chilly night so much more comfortable. Thank you! 🙏

The home stay is a perfect for family stay. We had 15 person and everyone enjoyed it. The host was super friendly and offered to bring our bags from the train station to the homestay!

Great place to stay, provides breakfast. About 20-30 minutes driving to sun moon lake. Provides coffee. Be sure to be able to walk stairs. Some steps are large. Many hello kitty decorations. 3 toilets, 2 showers. Nice linens and bedding.

The accommodation is small and beautiful, and overall cozy for everyone to gather together, love the warm feeling.

Very good environment, beautiful, spacious room, clean and comfortable wifi is fast enough. There are many streaming platforms to choose from. The owner is very kind The breakfast was amazing. The family style smells rich and delicious. Rice with a variety of small dishes, freshly cooked, freshly cut fruit, buns, corn, everything is very satisfying Pet friendly environment, big grass to run Dogs love it

JP’s place is very peaceful and has great views of the ocean. Each room has a separate entrance so you do have to go outside to get to the living area from the bedrooms but each room also has its own bathroom. Changbin has a surprising array of excellent restaurants and boutique coffee shops. JP made good local recommendations and helped us make reservations. We had a lovely stay and highly recommend it.

Vacation also has a sense of home, recommend!

This house is amazing!~ We are several with kids to meet in Taiwan for the New Year.From the time we were looking for a place to book, until we checked out and left, the host, Mr. Huang, was very enthusiastic about entertaining us.Remind us before you leave what documents need to be done and will also ask if we need local recommendations and arrangements.After booking the room, send us the check-in information of the apartment in advance so that we can arrange the itinerary of the vehicle.Contact us before check in to confirm the number of people and arrival time again and receive us at the apartment to arrange our check-in.Each room in the apartment is as shown in the picture, it is very tidy and cozy, the facilities are also very complete, the kids love it.Much better than expected, it was the most satisfying stop on my trip to Taiwan.Thank you very much for the great arrangement of the host and everything is available.Highly recommend for friends who come to Hualien ~ ~

My partner and I had an absolutely perfect stay at A-Yi's bnb. The room we stayed in was large, clean, and included a private bathroom, as well as extra blankets, towels, soap/shampoo, a fan, and powerful AC unit. Our room was also connected to a fully functional kitchen, refrigerator, and a very pleasant dining area. Right outside is a beautiful garden filled with fruit and flower trees. The bnb is located close to Fengtian railway station, but tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood close to the mountains. Nearby are several scenic attractions such as Shuhu Waterfall, cherry blossom trails, and excellent hiking spots. We greatly enjoyed exploring the community and its wonderful surroundings! Last but not least, A-Yi was such a gracious and generous host. She is a joy to be around and really went above and beyond to make sure we were well accommodated during our stay. We were treated like family and would most definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

5 nice rooms in an apartment, nice for big family or group of friends to spend a few days in Hualien. Responsive host.
