Newly updated in 2018, Graystone Cottage is directly on Lake Superior with 100 feet of gray stone beach frontage. Enjoy your morning coffee on the spacious patio with panoramic views of the Huron Mountains and Little Traverse Bay. Maybe spot a Bald Eagle fishing or flying to its nearby nest. Our peaceful 5-bedroom lakefront home is 4 miles from Houghton and is conveniently located near the airport, Michigan Tech, Mont Ripley (3 miles) and Mount Bohemia (38 miles). Snowmobile trails are only 1/3rd of a mile away and you can ride your sled from here. Enjoy spectacular views of the lake, kayaking, and campfires on the patio. Our area is full of history and charm. Come visit! Parking for 3 trucks, plus trailers. Please Note: We charge $10 per night per person over 2 people.

High Rock Cabin- 200 ft to trail 17! Close to town

Welcome to our “High Rock Cabin”. This centrally located tiny house is right by the trails. Set in the woods, but only a couple miles from Hancock/Houghton! One main floor bedroom with queen bed, and a loft with two full beds. Please be aware that there is a spiral staircase to access the loft. No smoking in cabin. Will be a $250 fee if smoking is detected. Also, pets must be approved by owners. Will entail an additional pet fee. There is plenty of parking, enough room for a trailer!

Fog Signal House at Sand Hills

Enjoy an extraordinary couple's retreat at the historic Fog Signal House at Sand Hills Lighthouse. Originally built in 1919 to house two massive fog horns, the Fog House has been transformed into a relaxing space for two. Otter House

Otter House is a beautifully appointed log cabin in the trees overlooking Otter Lake. It is comfortably furnished with a well equipped kitchen. The lakefront has a small beach, 3 kayaks, a canoe, hammocks and a fire pit. Otter Lake is a tranquil spot with great fishing and very little boat traffic. There is a parking pad for your RV or trailer. *Please note that the entry is on the basement level and the main living area is up a flight of stairs.

What it offers: One queen bed, one sofa sleeper, parking, microwave, toaster oven, hot plate, WIFI, Roku TV, coffee maker, 3/4 bathroom, a fantastic view, nestled on Pike Bay, 20 gallon hot water heater. Instant snowmobile access to the lake in winter. Air conditioning in summer and 2 wall furnaces for warmth in winter. What it doesn't have: Oven, automatic dishwasher, laundry facilities.

The Retro Roost: Walk to MTU and Downtown Houghton

- Walking distance to MTU campus, Jim's grocery store, downtown Houghton, and 20 miles of ski/bike/hike trails - Retro, cozy and private one-bed/bath unit with a kitchenette and attached garage Park in the garage and walk directly into the unit! Hosts Adam and Jana live upstairs with their family and dogs. There is a cot, and a fold out couch in addition to a queen size bed, for extra sleepers, if needed.
