"Terrazza Amalfi" is one of the three (3) private rooms available for bookings at Dint' a Torre Bed & Breakfast in Amalfi Coast, the sunny South of Italy. Terrazza Amalfi is a double room featuring en-suite bathroom and panoramic balcony. Please note this listing rate is inclusive of breakfast, and excluding the city tax of €1,50 per guest per night (for a maximum stay of 7 nights, except for children under 12 years of age).

"Dint' a Torre" Bed & Breakfast (which in the local dialect means "in the tower") is located in a 3-story house built in the 20th century, recently restored, to offer its distinguished guests a relaxing atmosphere in the heart of medieval Pontone - the "Village Museum" between Amalfi and Ravello. Located on the hillside and surrounded by lemon trees and vineyards, Dint' a Torre is just a stone's throw from the sea. A unique site offering tranquility and a breathtaking, panoramic view of the blue sky, the green hills and the shimmering sea of the Amalfi Coast in Southern Italy.

If you enjoy walking through nature, head downhill as Amalfi is just a few hundred steps away! Same route, this time uphill, to Ravello, the "City of Music", to visit its historic villas and monuments. It takes about half an hour by car or by boat to reach beautiful Positano where you will enjoy getting lost in its winding avenues while visiting the great shops, antique stores and art galleries.

Our goal is to make your stay an unforgettable experience and we are very much looking forward to welcoming you to the Amalfi Coast!

It is our aim to provide all of our guests with traditional warm Italian hospitality combined with comfortable accommodation and service in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere as if you were at your own home.

We, the property owners, live on site, so there is always someone available to assist with guests needs. Our wish is to make your stay as relaxing as possible offering an excellent solution for those who wish to immerse themselves in nature and stay at reasonable prices without sacrificing the standards of modern comfort.

Our rooms are quiet, well-maintained and tastefully decorated featuring a panoramic terrace with amazing views of the hills and the sea of the Amalfi Coast, en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, Internet access, telephone, hairdryer, TV and minibar...

...and after a good night's sleep, you will start your day with a delicious, Italian-style breakfast, freshly served at our partner café BLU BAR located nearby our B&B. After breakfast, you may like to relax and enjoy the sunshine and incomparable panorama on the terrace.

It is strictly forbidden to smoke in the rooms and common premises. Guests are welcome to use the balcony or outdoor area for smoking.

Other things to note
On the day of your arrival, check-in time is anytime between 2:00pm and 8:00pm, while on your departure day, check-out time is latest by 10:00am. Check-in after 8:00pm is possible by prior arrangement only as well as
subject to an extra charge of €20,00.

Please keep in mind this is a family B&B, not a hotel. Upon your arrival, you will be required to produce a valid travel document (passport or identity card) which will be returned to you immediately after the necessary registration formalities.

In case of an early arrival or a late departure, you can leave your luggage in our storage room at no extra charge.

Neighbourhood highlights

Overlooking Amalfi, Pontone is a picturesque hillside village roughly 200 meters above sea level. Currently a district of Scala, Pontone was part of the Municipality of Amalfi until the early 20th century during which time it was a popular destination for the clergy and noble class of the Amalfitan Duchy who were in search of the casual and relaxed atmosphere the village had to offer...

Today Pontone is still a quiet and rural village that enchants every visitor with the renowned warmth and hospitality of its villagers, its aristocratic houses, bell towers and three churches of great historical and artistic value. Pontone's daily life is based around its main square or "piazza" featuring the medieval church of St. John the Baptist, which dates back to the 12th century. Around the same square, you will find two restaurants/pizzeria offering superb local cuisine and a coffee bar where you can sit right under the trees in the square enjoying a good "espresso" or a cold beer.

Pontone is also an excellent starting point for excursions to the other centers along the Amalfi Coast and, especially for nature and mountain trail lovers, to the "Valle delle Ferriere" or towards the famous "Torre dello Ziro".
