The space
My place is a 1960s motel which has great river views right on your doorstep; its close to the beach, restaurants and dining, and family-friendly activities. You’ll love my place because of the location- right on the water, the friendly service and the cosiness. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends in some of our pet rooms- not all room types(pets). For a trip back to simpler holiday experiences-you will love your stay here!

The Waterfront Wynyard is a 3.5 Star motel located on the banks of the Inglis River in North West Tasmania. We have bikes and Kayaks available for guests to use. In addition we have a guest lounge with breakfast available daily from $15. The guest lounge is open all the time to come and enjoy a drink be it from our licensed Bar or from the Espresso machine. We have a DVD and a book library as well which you are welcome to browse.

Neighbourhood highlights

Wynyard is a cute little seaside village int he heart of the North West Coast. There are some groovy coffee shops and second hand stores for some great browsing. We also have a cool beachfront market on every 1st and 3rd Sunday choc full of home made stuff, jams, fresh fruit and veg and second hand stuff- all with a backdrop of the beautiful Wynyard beach area. There are supermarkets, post office, newsagents and banks within easy walking of the motel. Great walking tracks, and of course the river! We have Kayaks for our guests to use if they are feeling energetic- and also a couple of retro cruiser bikes as well.
