Every detail of our boutique hotel has been mindfully chosen to reflect the natural beauty of our surroundings. From the vibrant greenery that adorns the property, the pop of seafoam green on our casitas, to the distinctive blue door that welcomes you onto our 400′ dock.

Puerta Azul invites you to experience authentic Caribbean living. The ocean sits calmly, waiting for you to dig your toes into its sandy edge, while the well-preserved coral reef is just a short swim away. Arrive to the bustling village of West End within ten minutes, where the main strip is ripe for your exploration. Or choose to experience the full spectrum of Roatan’s hidden beauty aboard our boat, the Jesse James, ready to whisk you away to the last of untouched paradise.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entirety of our 1 acre estate, which is comprised of 9 standalone accommodations, an on-site restaurant offering al fresco dining, and exclusive beachfront with direct access to the Mesoamerican Reef.

All stays include complimentary breakfast, daily cleaning service, use of kayaks and paddleboards, as well as air conditioning and wi-fi.

Complimentary breakfast is served from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM. Dinner is served until 8:00 PM. On Sundays, the kitchen closes at 3:00 PM.

Our strategic location also offers convenient access to Roatan’s key attractions. A 10 minute ride will take you to the lively town of West End, and we are only 20 minutes away from the famed white sand beach in West Bay.

During your stay

Upon arrival you will be greeted by our on-site hosts with a welcome drink. Together, we will go over all of the property details while the caretaker brings your luggage to your room.

Hosts are on-site daily from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM to assist with anything you need - including transportation, tours, dinner reservations, you name it!

Daily cleaning service is provided until 12:00 PM. If you do not wish to have your room cleaned, there are "Do Not Disturb" signs for your convenience.
