On New Year's Day, 2024, the landscape of the coastline was drastically changed by a tectonic movement once every several thousand years, and the earthquake caused extensive damage to the village. We hope you will rediscover the mysterious cultural charm and the beauty of the rugged Noto natural landscape newly created by the earth.

能登にはありきたりの住宅を改装しています。 徒歩１分のところに岩場の海があります。 遊歩道を10分ほど歩くと日本最古の現存する木造灯台があります。そこへ歩く時に見える自然の景色は見事です。 町外れの家なので、騒音を気にしなくても良いです。好きな音楽を聞くもよし、読書にふけるもよしです。 波の音、鳥のさえずり、虫の鳴き声が聞こえます。 たまに車が通る音が聞こえます。 野良猫があちこちに居ます。 たまにタヌキ、ハクビシン、キツネやウサギも見かけます。 コンビニやスーパーなどは車で10分のところにあります。近くに商店等はありません。 インターネットはWi-Fiで接続可能です。 ユニットバスは１つ（共用）。 洗濯機は脱衣室に１つ（共用）。 冷蔵庫はロビーに１つ（共用）。 テレビは各部屋に１台（地上波）。 簡易キッチンを新たに設置しました（共用）。 感染予防のため、地蔵前#1は１棟貸切でご利用になりたいゲストのためのリスティングにしております。 地蔵前は本館２階（２ベッドｘ５部屋）と離れ（２ベッドｘ３部屋）との２つのセクションがあります。 状況に応じて、部屋を振り分けています。

150-Year-Old Noto Kominka – Entire Home

Our house is over 100 years old, traditional Japanese style house called machiya. It is located in Nanao city, the center of Noto island. The characteristic point is that there are an earthen floor and a stairwell. In order to experience life in an old private house as it is, the house is hot in summer and cold in winter. Please note that some of the doors and other parts of the house are a bit warped and difficult to close. Enjoy a quaint and cozy atmosphere!

"Hinoki no ie" is a wooden house surrounded by the nature of the Noto area. It's located right in-between of Kanazawa and Oku-Noto and it's about an hour by car from both, making it convenient for sightseeing. You can relax in the living room, the Japanese-style room or the cozy open space. The bath is made of hinoki, Japanese cypress. When you step into the bathroom your whole body is enveloped in the scent of the wood. The sea is also very close.

I, the owner, who had lived in Shonan, Kanagawa Prefecture for a long time, fell in love with Toyama Bay, which is famous for having the calmest sea in Japan, and the idea of "creating a Shonan in Noto" gave birth to our "Tatsuya". A talented designer who has worked on commercial facilities mainly in Tokyo participated in the renovation of this 130-year-old private house.
