Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Honolulu

This was by far our favorite Airbnb of all the ones we've been to! Gorgeous views looking both at the ocean, city, golf course, and even a bit of the Diamond trail. We were surprised to see that this spot was the second to the highest floor and at the corner of the building which means BEST VIEWS ALL AROUND! The parking was a bit difficult if you were on the opposite side of the road. It'll take you in circles so once you find the entrance just make a left at the median or U-turn at the light then you're there! The spot itself is amazing with a beautiful balcony and view from every single room, except the bathroom. All the amenities were included inside and much more! It was very well decorated and clean and nothing was difficult to use or find. Everything was walkable. Tons of activities and restaurants and especially ABC stores!! if you're taking a rental car then everything is accessible. Again BY FAR our favorite Airbnb listing! Must book!!!

Garret was a great host, very responsive and friendly. Had a great stay at his place, very close to the beach. The views are amazing around the home and had everything we needed at the house.

This was a wonderful stay! Never stayed away from Waikiki and this was a wonderful experience

The house was great! The community within the gates was awesome! The host, was great! The residential area just outside the gated community was fine. The area along Farrington Hwy (Hwy 93), between Makaha Valley Road and south for about 8 or so miles, was riddled with beach front homelessness. Don’t expect to hit the beach in this area. We drove north to Makua Beach, which was nice and felt safe. We also spent time at the Kohola Lagoon in front of Aulani Disney Resort. Aulani was nice and the beach felt safe. The house itself is in good shape. There were some minor things, which happens with some careless guests. Joe provided very useful beach equipment. We used the towels, beach mats, snorkel gear, kids beach toys and took the umbrellas just in case. The washer and dryer were very helpful, to ready the towels and swim clothes for the next day. The exterior fourth bedroom was great for my oldest son. It has all you need. Overall, great house, great host and great amenities. Mahalo

House is great, clean easy to find and access. Location is a little far out of town, but in a beautiful setting with mountains and you can see the ocean if the back sitting area

우리 가족들은 이곳에서 정말 멋진 시간을 보냈습니다 호놀룰루에서 좀 멀고 차가 좀 막히긴 했지만 이곳에 오면 집처럼 느껴지는 편안함이 있습니다. 집기류 식기류 등이 완벽하게 갖추어져 있어서 가족들끼리 숙소에서 밥을 해 먹기 참 좋았습니다 숙소 주변 비치들도 좋아서 한적하게 즐길 수 있었고, 일몰을 감상하기 좋았습니다 앞 뒤의 산 풍경이 정말 멋집니다.

I was immediately drawn to Kamilah’s place upon seeing the photos. It was perfect for my family of 7. I was looking for a place that has enough bed space and 2 bathrooms plus reasonably priced. Oh, and breathtaking view of the mountains is something I don’t get to see everyday in NY! What made it even better is the host! She is very accommodating and responds right away! That’s a big deal for me having had a bad experience with VRBO host. I always go back to Airbnb. Kamilah is very friendly and I felt like I’ve known her, that’s how comfortable she made me feel. Cozy, homey place + friendly & kind host= perfect place to stay!

Our first time in Hawaii and it was a Great stay!!! The house was very spacious and clean and there was more than enough space for our family of 6. The amenities were amazing and waking up to the view of the ocean was the best! There are so many beach/snorkeling items that make your stay even smoother. The beds were all very comfortable. Kerstan stayed in contact with us to make sure we didn’t need anything. She was amazing! Will definitely stay here again!!

Great and very convenient location. It was so close to Waikiki Beach and other popular shops and restaurants. All within the walking distance.

The room was very clean and cozy, with a beautiful view! The parking garage at the hotel is cash only, which was slightly annoying because we weren’t ready for that, but all worked out. Would stay again!

Everything was great! Carlo was responsive and friendly. The place itself is in such a convenient location to access the beach, the international market place, and Diamond head. As a solo traveler I felt so safe the entire time!

Great place to stay , great deal! Stunning view, has all your essential needs. Bed is comfy, AC is on point. Book in advance cause i only got to experience eit for half my trip and I couldn’t use it for my full stay. The other air bnb I booked was more money and not as good.

Farid's place was comfortable and had everything we needed. Farid and Stanley were very accommodating and responsive. The location is great and free parking is always a bonus! We would stay again!

Walking distance to so much, which is helpful because parking everyone I traveled was nightmare. It’s best to uber, just FYI! Next time I’ll know! Perfect place, perfect location, amazing host!

Best location, short walk to wakiki and ala Moana shopping. The free parking is priceless, we had a rental and used it to tour the island. Looks like the unit was recently renovated, shining appliance, countertops, tiles.

Staying at Liping and Chris’s condo was a great experience! The view was amazing, and the location near Waikiki couldn’t have been more convenient, the parking was a huge plus too! The condo was clean, well-equipped, and super comfortable. Liping and Chris were friendly, responsive, and made the check-in process smooth and easy. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

We loved this place! Definitely will be rebooking on my next trip to Honolulu. This felt like a home away from home. Very cozy, comfortable and had lots of amenities that not alot of places offer. There are a lot of places near the Airbnb. We walked to most places. The host is absolutely amazing! He offered great recommendations for things to do and places to see. He was very quick to respond to any questions I had. Overall a great experience!

This was a great place to stay for our family of four. We especially enjoyed the snorkel, boogie boards, chairs, and umbrella that were included. It was super close to everything in Waikiki. The host was super responsive. The pool closed for renovation during our stay, but the host provided a neighboring pool we could use, which was awesome.

Excellent Waikiki location. Walking distance to beach, zoo, aquarium and many area restaurants.

The Airbnb was perfect in every way - great location, free assigned parking in a gated parking lot, clean room. Clear instructions for check-in & check-out. Shops, restaurants & dessert place just downstairs. We would definitely stay here again!

This Waikiki stay was a fantastic value considering the location and other pricing around the area. There was a lot to do within walking distance, a parking garage (a Waikiki essential), and Erika was a very proactive and responsive host. Beach towels & chairs, sunscreen, and even an umbrella was provided by the host. Would definitely recommend it and consider staying here again!

We had one of the best vacations while staying at Jacqueline’s condos. It was my husband and I and our 12 and 7 year olds kids. The place was spacious enough for the 4 of us, it’s nice that the rooms were separated by a wall with a little door on each side that we can close. Each room had a flat screen tv with anything you can think of (Netflix, Hulu, peacock, Apple TV, etc) which was great to be able to watch our favorite shows after a day at the beach. Kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed, we never ran out of any supplies. A big bonus, beach towels in the closet and beach chairs, surf boards and toys that were on the deck. Jacqueline was a great and welcoming host who responded very quickly to any questions we had. Location was perfect, we love staying near Hilton village since it’s close to everything, including Waikiki beach and restaurants which was a quick 20 mins walk. Every Friday you can see fireworks right outside of the lobby. Parking is $45 a day, vallet only.
