Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Hokitika

The property was amazing. It was cozy and had everything we needed. The spa overlooking the sea was fabulous, as was the room outside where we could sit and chill and watch the sea, but be warm and cozy. We walked into town for dinner. Wandered along the beach. The interior design was really cool. My husband especially lived the robots on the ceiling. We also enjoyed Hokitika, cafes were great. We went to the National Kiwi Centre which was AMAZING! And also did the zipline at the West Coast Treetop Hikoi and Tower Zipline. Thanks we had a great time. Highly recommend staying here.

We had a great stay at Sailors catch and Claire the host was great with communication and sent us a great place for lunch. The views of the beach and sunset were awesome and we will be back to stay in the future 👍

Cant find a bnb which is so cozy and felt like home yet far away from home. Location is on point, you can enjoy hot tub and with might glacier views. 10stars.

Claire's house was the perfect location to have my husband's family reunion. Right on the beach with the amazing views was such a bonus and exceeded my expectations of it. The house was warm, spacious, clean and beds super comfy. The big square table was just the right spot for our family gathering. Many hours were spent sitting around it yarning of times gone by and making new memories. Not to mention the cards games like the old days with grandparents. So much fun. We will all be back. Stayed for work, clean and tidy and would stay again

We had a wonderful, restful stay at Halcyon Point. Really appreciated being able to check-in early on our visit, and it was beautiful, clean accommodation with everything we needed for our visit to Hokitika. Such a lovely area with the native bush and native birds. Beautiful and comfortable furnishings and especially loved the house plants! The friendly and helpful communication from Claire and Sandy made us feel very welcome. It was also great being able to look at recommendations for places to go out for meals. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and we hope to stay again in the future.

Easy walk to restaurants and shops. Clean, tidy. lovely and quiet at night. we were worried a hostel would be noisy at night. All ages booked in. Young and elderly. Good friendly atmosphere

We really enjoyed staying in this charming little house. A very cosy and stylishly furnished cottage right on the beach and an easy walk to town - what else could you ask for. Beds were comfy and house was kept lovely and warm with heaters in the lounge and hallway. Would highly recommend this house to anyone wanting to stay in Hokitika.

Well the pictures instantly appealed- but it’s much larger in real life. The accessibility for me of being able to check in at 9pm was very helpful and as I had a lot of gear with me having the door at the front was very useful for loading and unloading. The details in the memrobilia were very interesting and yet a classic collection that was visually appealing A very classy apartment. Also much warmer and quieter that I had expected.

Unique character with comfort and style.

We had a fantastic stay drive was a bit steep but we managed in our front 2 wheel drive vehicle. Lovely stay had everything we needed. And very Friendly hosts would happily stay again 🙏🏻

Perfect host. It was or second trip at the lodge and Adrian personally looked after it and made sure that we are fine with the stay. Highly recommended A+

Gumboot paradise is a wonderful spot to stay. It’s Kiwi ‘glamping’ at its best. Our kids loved the outdoor shower and even the composting toilet. Be prepared to rough it in style!

Would definitely recommend Craig and Ri’s place if you are looking at seafront properties to stay for a night! The house had a small kitchen great for light cooking, a separate bedroom with plush bed and bathroom with shower amenities as well as a functioning heater to keep us warm! The living room has another heater as well and sofas are comfortable too. The walk to the hot tub shack was short (probably less than 30 seconds) and it is kept constant at 38 deg c, which is great during this chilly period! Overall, would recommend Craig and Ri’s place for anyone coming by to stay and looking to stroll along the beach.

Stunning quiet location, very warm and cozy, great shower pressure and absolutely loved the pool table! Didn’t miss having a tv at all - lovely to be off-grid for a change. Huge deck which is all covered and would’ve been great if it was raining! But we had beautiful weather so also had no issues with solar power. Felt very lucky to be able to have our dogs with us. They had the best time too. Thanks so much, we had a great couple of nights.
