The building is fenced. If you are missing anything, you can use the services of the established guest house, which is a "few" steps from the yurt, but you will still feel like you are alone.

Our vacation home is located in the small vacation village of Mauth approx. 12 km from Freyung. Mauth (more information here) is a state-recognized holiday resort in the heart of the Bavarian Forest. The national park with animal enclosure and treetop path, Finsterau open-air museum, numerous hiking trails and in winter with numerous cross-country ski trails. Skiing opportunities in Mitterfirmiansreut within minutes. Only about a 10-minute walk from the vacation home is the very beautiful and idyllic swimming lake in Mauth.

Since the stairs are not suitable for dogs, your four-legged friends must be able to sleep in the living area on the ground floor.
