A rod fee applies. You can keep 1 fish per rod (subject to meeting size requirements), after that it’s catch and release. Sleeps up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms - 2 x double beds, 2x single beds. The Chalet has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with bath and one with shower. Fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, oven/hob and microwave. TV and Fireplace. French doors lead onto patio with private garden, barbecue and Gazebo. Sleeps 4. For those guests requiring more accommodation we have The Cottage at Maple Grove which sheeps 2 (can also accommodate two children on stackbeds), and The Cabin at Maple Grove which sleeps 2. Ideal for an extended family booking of up to 10 guests.

It is a perfect place for couples seeking a relaxing and romantic weekend, a family or friendship getaway or a place to work (wifi reception is good and there is a large worktable).

Redwood Manor House in Hogsback

Redwood Manor House for 5 guests is self catering with 2 en-suite bedrooms. The living room has a fireplace and a spare single bed. We have a Smart TV with DStv and Wi-fi. The garden has azaleas, hydrangeas, clivias, rhododendrons and crinum lilies as well as Redwood and Yellowwood trees. Birdwatchers will see the Knysna Loerie and Cape Parrots. From the covered patio with its built-in braai there is a view on the Amatola forest and the 3 peaks of Hogsback Mountain.

The Bunny Burrow

This is one of our most popular cottages. It sleeps two, but can sleep 3 if need be. The cottage was built up from an old pool and has so much character! The sunken lounge and kitchen, along with the loft-style bedroom make this the perfect cottage for a couple wanting to get away. It is fully equipped and offers a beautiful little fireplace for those cold nights on the mountain. With a breathtaking view, it's no wonder it's so popular! Unique and tranquil getaway.

Camroshell: Rustic Forest Retreat in Hogsback

Camroshell is a charming rustic forest retreat in Hogsback, perfect for families or groups. The main house sleeps 6, with two flatlets for 2 each (10 guests total). Enjoy three fire pits, and a large deck overlooking ancient forests. Self-catering with an on-site assistant to help with keys, fires, and wood. The property is located on a major road and is fully fenced with an electrically operated gate. It is within a walking distance to The Edge, The Eco Shrine and to several beautiful walks. The property is entirely independent from Eskom power supply.

Quaint and cozy cottage amongst the trees. This is a fully kitted out self-catering cottage, perfect for a romantic getaway or a family of five. Situated close enough to town, but far enough for a quiet, tranquil getaway.
