It is located in the place where you can enjoy the most beautiful view of Lake Otsuka, and all living spaces are on the second floor. From the large windows in the living room, you can enjoy the seasonal lakeside scenery. There is a well-maintained Japanese garden on the property where you can spend a relaxing time. In summer, many guests enjoy BBQs in the garden, and it is popular for family and group trips. (BBQ equipment can be rented for a fee.) There is also direct access from the property to the promenade by Lake Otsuka. Morning walks and runs are exceptional, and you may encounter swans and wild birds. You can also walk to the hot bath facility on the opposite side of the pond. HOTORI is an accommodation for spending a relaxing time with your loved ones, such as on a three-generation family trip, a gathering of relatives for a wedding or memorial service, a reunion with friends, or a group trip. It has excellent access not only to Mito City but also to the Oarai and Hitachinaka areas, making it a convenient base for watching sports and participating in events. This is a seaside hideaway where the sound of the waves is quiet. It is a sauna accommodation for adults to spend time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and to relax and return to themselves. This sauna was inspired by a small sauna on the waterfront that I visited in Finland. In that sauna, instead of competing for heat, "quiet time" flowed quietly while valuing quiet conversation and harmony with nature. I still have a strong impression of the people who gathered there, talking softly while treating the room and its furnishings with great care, and sometimes looking silently at the scenery outside. I hope that this inn will also cherish that kind of atmosphere.
