Nearby is the castle town of Nanban Daimyo "Kamei Kagekatsu", who worked on the red-sealed ship trade with Siam (Thailand) during the Warring States period, and there are also famous landmarks and old-fashioned towns. Hamamura Coast, where you can surf and swim, and Mt. Washimine, with its beautiful beech forest, are also nearby.
