Pure Japanese style traditional House Entire house

This is one of the few remaining pure Japanese-style sho-inzukuri buildings in Hiroshima City, built 75 years ago, shortly after the war.One step from the main street, in a quiet environment, there is a small Japanese-style garden where you can relax. There are items in the Mai House that are only kept there, such as a vase that partially melted due to the heat from the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima on 6 August 1945, and photographs from around 100 years ago. The fixtures and fittings and the glass date back more than 70 years, and the two gardens, the irigata (raised floor area) and the study, in particular, capture the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese house. At present, these items can only be obtained by placing an order with a select group of craftspeople. Of the five rooms, three are tatami-mat rooms; please sleep on the tatami mats with futons placed on top of them. Located in Minami-ku, Hiroshima City, and accessible by a single tram ride within the city. From the nearest station/tram stop ①, it takes approximately 20 minutes to reach Hiroshima Station. From the nearest station/tram stop ②, you can reach the Peace Memorial Park and the Atomic Bomb Dome, as well as the city centre, in around 20–30 minutes. The taxi journey takes around 10 minutes. There are a large shopping mall, Youme Town Hiroshima, which has everything you need for daily living, convenience stores (7-Eleven, FamilyMart), and eateries (okonomiyaki, ramen, sushi, yakiniku, waffles, bakery, etc.) within walking distance.

It is close to AkiNakano Station, which is 13 minutes from the JR Sanyo Line to Hiroshima Station.It is a 6-minute walk from Aki-Nakano Station to the inn.You can easily get to the Shinkansen and the airport shuttle bus.You can also leave your luggage after you arrive. It is close to the station, so it is easy to go to Peace Park, and Miyajima is 45 minutes by direct JR.From this inn, you can visit Kure, Okunoshima, Onomichi, Kurashiki, and Shinoura.There is also a free parking lot that can accommodate 2 cars. This is a wooden house built around 1954 (Showa 29). This building has been lovingly used, preserving the atmosphere of that time. As the property has hardly been renovated, there may be some minor inconveniences, but I hope you will enjoy your time in Hiroshima and create memories while imagining what life was like in those days. You will have the entire building to yourselves. On the ground floor, there is a kitchen, a bathroom and a toilet.The other room is the landlord's storage space. The second floor is the guest bedroom. Guests can use the kitchen, so they can cook food they've bought from a nearby supermarket or other place. It's about a 10-minute walk to Heiwa Park, and there's a convenience store, supermarket and more nearby, so it's a very convenient location. It is the only property around Shin Onomichi Station. The house is a traditional Japanese house and you will be staying in the main house. Limited to one group per day, can accommodate up to 4 guests. Only one dog can stay with you (but it must be kept in a cage in the tatami room). It is close to the Shinkansen, so there is noise and vibration every time you pass.It may not be suitable for those who are sensitive to sound. (It's quiet because it doesn't run from 11:40 PM to 6:20 AM) If you are staying with 2 people, you can have separate bedrooms.Or you can combine two single beds to make a double bed. Please let us know your requirements. Free parking is available below the guest house, but please be aware that it is difficult to access from the public road.
