The space was a little small but provided a comfortable stay for us. Peaceful and clean accommodations and clear instructions from the host. Bonus for the bathroom dryer fan…definitely use this to dry your clothes vs using the machine. Thank you for hosting us!

We had a great stay. This apartment was perfect for us. It is quiet. It is only three minutes from the subway station. There’s plenty of places to eat and buy food. Masashi and Maya were very responsive and kind. I really appreciate all of our kindness and extra steps to make sure that we were OK and having a good stay. I will definitely stay here again.

Loved this place and felt right at home. A beautiful apartment, really safe and secure in a quiet residential area but only a couple of minutes walk to major train stations/bus routes. Great host, really helpful communications and checked in on us a few times via text

We stayed in Naoyuki's property for 4 days and loved the stay. The room with 4 futons was amazing and very traditional with Japanese decors. The proximity to the bus stop and tram/train station was extremely convenient in terms of transportation. The stay was as warm and cozy as Kyoto.

We loved our stay at Yamano’s place. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet, but it was just a short walk to the river, bus stop, and train station. The hosts were extremely responsive and kind. They met us at check in to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. They also sent suggestions for restaurants and things to do in the area.

She contacted us well in advance with clear check-in instructions and was flexible in accommodating our arrival time. She even met us in person to assist with parking and gave us a warm welcome with a house tour. We were touched by the little gestures—iced bottled water, delicious snacks, and her genuine conversation where she shared about herself and made us feel right at home. She even helped with our luggage and came to send us off when we checked out. It’s rare to meet such a hospitable and caring host. Highly recommended—we would love to stay again!

Reminded me of the first house I lived in in Japan: tatami floors, wooden fixtures, sliding doors... I felt like I was visiting a friend's grandmother's house! Must have been the smell of the wood. Spacious enough for a travel group to have private space as well as communal space. It's a bit of a hike from the train station but still walkable. Quaint, quiet residential neighborhood. Incredible value. Would definitely stay again.

Fumika-san is a great host! Very understanding, calm and kind, responds quickly, went to meet and greet us at the bus stop, which was very considerate. Highly recommend the place to anyone! Our host Ichiashi responded to messages instantly, which always made us feel safe, and was always open to questions. The house was like a dream, you feel like you are in a Japanese house. The bicycles waiting for you in front of the house are perfect for experiencing the spirit of Kyoto. The host has even prepared a map for you for places to visit in Kyoto. Peace flows in through the windows overlooking the backyard of the house. Everything from iron to plate, from coffee to shampoo, even bath salts for the bathtub has been thought of inside the house. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful traditional Japanese-style home in Kyoto. The house perfectly blended old and new, with charming touches like tatami mats and modern comforts. The beds were very comfortable, and the home was spotless, well-equipped, and thoughtfully arranged. The location was ideal — just a 5-minute walk to Nijo subway station and within 10 minutes of Nijo Castle, one of Kyoto’s main attractions. Our host, Hori-san, was incredibly welcoming and shared great local tips that enriched our trip. She also gave us a warm tour of the house, helping us feel right at home. We highly recommend the ‘Memory Kyoto Bike Tour,’ which starts just five minutes away. We’re so glad we chose this place and would happily return. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic and comfortable stay in Kyoto.

This place is exactly as all the other five-star reviews describe. The host is considerate, kind, and responsive. The space is quiet yet close to several major stations. The instruction manuals for the indoor equipment are clear and thorough. I can see how much care the host has put into ensuring our comfort through all the thoughtful details. We’ll definitely book here again if we visit Osaka in the future!

Lovely clean place right in the heart of Osakas Dottonburi district, close to everything and right near the station so it was just perfect. Great communication and easy to find, would totally recommend. Thank you Sakura 😊

All in all good!The kitchen is fully equipped, there are basic living items, and the homestay owner is also very friendly, helping to carry your luggage upstairs!But there are a few places I think it can be mentioned, first of all, the equipment to regulate the water temperature in the bathroom is more complicated, didn't understand at first, it took more than 15 minutes to turn to the heating water (go to the cold water first, then move the hot water slowly, there is warm water).The second is that although it is only 4 minutes from the nearest MTR station access, the entrance with the lift is 8 minutes away and is slightly inconvenient.
