Take it easy at this tranquil getaway in the Weminuche Wilderness. Just 18 miles from Durango at the north end of Lake Vallecito, this cozy A-Frame is sweet to wake up in with the amazing views of the tall pines & deer. Grimes Creek runs behind it during spring and early summer. The creek is great for digging up worms for fishing or collecting in your bucket! Gaze at the Milky Way and roast s’mores! The Keva contains washer, dryer, chairs, bikes & hammocks. Volleyball also available.

This cabin has a private wall that divides it from the cabin next door. Fully contained and private access. Our own little Oasis in the center of beautiful and remote Lake City. You can walk to many restaurants and shops in just a few minutes. Charcoal grills and picnic tables throughout the property for you to enjoy an outside picnic. This small cabin is quaint and comfortable with all amenities. Occasionally there is live music at the restaurants nearby that ends 9-9:30pm

Vallecito Creek Front Retreat- Dog Friendly

Our home sits right on Vallecito Creek. Enjoy the waterfront while you relax. Three bedrooms, two baths with a large kitchen and open dining room makes for great family time . Cozy up by the fire in the winter or sit on the deck and watch the water go by in the summer. Large fenced dog yard for the pups. Dedicated work area so you can keep up with the office if needed. Vallecito is where you want to be. Perfect retreat! Only a half mile from the trailhead.

Gowdy Apartment is a two queen bed one bath apartment. It is located in the historic district and walking distance is a mere 2 blocks to the center town, restaurants, pubs, and town events. The Apartment rental has a nice private courtyard with fire pit, grill, picnic table and stunning mountain views. Apartment with full kitchen, king bed and also a trundle bed (two twins), laundry , 65” tv, bathroom with shower, and a big covered back porch with table and chairs. There’s a nicely landscaped private area just off the porch. Plenty of parking. You are right across the street from the visitor center, movie theater and post office and walking distance to downtown. You can drive your atv’s to the alpine loop.
