We have carefully selected distinctive Japanese materials, The main wall of the living room TV area features stylish, high-end woven wallpaper with a design aesthetic. This is Japan’s largest and world-renowned wool fabric production area, and the overall space exudes a warm and cosy homey atmosphere. For this special toilet renovation, we used herringbone-patterned tiles made with a highly skilled technique using century-old tiles from Gifu Prefecture, Japan. These tiles create a three-dimensional effect as light and shadow play on them. Mino-yaki ceramics have a history of around 1,300 years, and the tile industry has been producing these tiles for over a century; they are among the most technically challenging tiles to make. We’ve also carefully upgraded the Dyson hairdryer, as well as the Dyson bladeless fan, the fast-boiling kettle from a Japanese design brand, the brand-new Daikin air conditioner (heating and cooling) in the living room, and the best shower head in Japan! The flooring is sourced from Asahi Mokko, a century-old Japanese company, and is of the highest quality—three times more expensive than Chinese products. We also carefully select the bedding.
