Izu Ocean Park and Ocean BBQ are a 15-minute walk or 3-minute drive away. You can see the Pacific Ocean from the suspension bridge and lighthouse, about a 5-minute walk, and if you're lucky, you can see a sea turtle swimming. It is about a 20-minute walk from Jogasakikaigan Station, and there are 2 free electric assist bicycles in the facility, so you can go shopping in about 10 minutes to a supermarket or convenience store without a car. My parents remodeled after decommissioning a minsu and intended to live here for the rest of their lives, but after returning their driver's license, it was very inconvenient to shop one, and I moved in front of the station.(My parents are still doing well) As everyone's "Jikka", which has become a vacant home, has been used as a place for Japanese friends, a place of healing, a place to learn, and a place for laughter.
