The fixtures and fittings and the glass date back more than 70 years, and the two gardens, the irigata (raised floor area) and the study, in particular, capture the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese house. At present, these items can only be obtained by placing an order with a select group of craftspeople. Of the five rooms, three are tatami-mat rooms; please sleep on the tatami mats with futons placed on top of them.
