Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Herefordshire

We had a wonderful stay at Andrew’s place, very well appointed, with all that we needed, and tastefully decorated. The location is wonderful, very peaceful, but close enough to a decent couple of pubs/restaurants to walk. Lots of nice walks around and good links to many of the attractions in the area. Shout out in particular to the comfortable beds, really good! Can definitely recommend a stay here.

Stayed for 1 night but could have stayed longer. Great base for Hereford and surrounding areas. Easy walk into centre for pubs, restaurants and shops. Spacious accommodation and very quiet street with permit parking. Hosts were very attentive and helpful.

Leeann was super communicative which made the trip, arrival and check in seamless. The home was perfect t for our lot and the kids loved their shared room which had a nook that became the centre of their hide and seek game. There was plenty of space in the house and a few touches like tea and coffee made it instantly feel like home. Our takeaway from this trip was the beauty of family which was mirrored with the ample space in the property which also somehow felt cosy. Do not hesitate to book this one, you will definitely not be disappointed.

It was a very brief stay due to circumstances so only stayed for a night, but it was a lovely house, clean, tidy, comfortable. I know the area already so location is also good. Lia is a great host.

Beech Barn was the perfect little escape for the weekend. I could only wish we had longer to explore the fantastic area. A very peaceful and lovely barn conversion in an ideal location to explore from the back door. We will definitely be heading back

This property is just fantastic. I can honestly say the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. Location was tranquil and peaceful. House is spotless, every room was extremely clean. Great powerful shower. The property is a good size. We were only 3 people and was very spacious for us. Has its own private parking. Kitchen was lovely, and a great little garden, with beautiful views. We felt relaxed and chilled here. There is not a lot in the little village, there is a pub, but we knew that when booking and that's what sold it for us. We don't like busy towns, we wanted quiet. It is a great base to get about though. Not far from Hereford, and right on the Welsh border. Just down the road is Arthur's Stone which was really interesting to visit. We drove into Hay-on-Wye one evening, its about 15 mins down the road, lots of restaurants and fish shop. The Brecon Beacons were only an hour away. We also visited Puzzlewood, which is in the Forest of Dean, about an hour in the other direction.

We had a lovely time at Alison’s place during the book festival. V easy to reach the festival place, and the town at other times. Comfortable, quiet place with good beds (including lovely linen sheets). Cute secluded garden to sit in and have coffee. The only thing we would have wished for was a set of black-out blinds in each bedroom. So pack an eye mask if you like your bedroom dark! But that really was the only suggestion we had. Thank you to Suzanne for an amazing stay. It was very relaxing, not just because of the location and surroundings, but also because Suzanne provided everything we needed to settle after a long journey. Although we didn’t formally speak, we felt you were there if we needed anything and always responded almost immediately. You provided a lot of useful information including maps for local walks, shops etc. We liked that fact that we could walk out of the lodge and immediately find walking routes in any direction. We also liked that the garden was secure, one of our dogs is a little excitable and it was reassuring to know that she could venture in to the garden without worrying about what she was up to! All amenities were perfectly functional and of good quality. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom with good shower too. Thank you for a lovely stay. I would recommend Suzanne’s place to anyone who likes long scenic walks, relaxing, and escaping their busy lives in a beautiful location.

The perfect spot for getting cosy and exploring pretty walks locally. Special shout out to Mark for being so kind, flexible and friendly! We were extra impressed with how well equipped the kitchen was for an airbnb which made cooking-in even lovelier. Such a charming space to find, we'll be back!

Really peaceful and comfortable, we felt right at home and the surroundings were lovely and relaxing. Would stay here again for some time away in the countryside

Both myself and my partner had a lovely stay we couldn't of picked a better place to stay, the accommodation was spotless, the hot tub was lovely and the overall stay was perfect. Really lovely place to stay, very comfortable space and everything you need. Surroundings are beautiful which can be enjoyed from the balcony. Very easy to walk into Hay and to get to the festival. Jan and Andrew were lovely hosts. Thank you very much.

A rejuvenating place that felt like staying in someone's warm (not just in temperature) and characterful home. We enjoyed feeling relaxed here from the moment we arrived. The surrounding fields and orchard with a river running through it was idyllic day and night. I was rewarded for being awake by the sounds of tawny owls calling back and forth. We had a brilliant stay and we were very pleased with the accommodation which was well equipped and the rural outlook and views from the flat exceeded our expectations. It was great that there were pretty local walks from the flat which meant we didn’t need to drive. Simon was a great host and we hope to return to the flat at a later date.

We loved the rural setting of Lizzy’s place right in the heart of the hills we were hoping to explore. Lizzy was on hand if we needed to ask anything but the apartment and the information we had already received was more than adequate - a cosy spot to return to after a long walk. And a good shower too.

Wonderful view through the window. Everything you need for a stay - I’ve stayed there before so it was good to stay in familiar surroundings. Will definitely return.

The apartment was clean, warm and comfy with all you need for a relaxing break. We felt at home straight away and the peaceful location and comfy bed meant that we had a great nights sleep. The view from the terrace was amazing with lovely evening sun and beautiful sunsets. Justine contacted us before arriving and during our stay, was really friendly and very understanding of our barking dog! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property and we hope to return in the future. Thank you Justine and hubby.

Another very happy stay here. As it was a warmer time of year this stay,it was wonderful to be able to sit out on the covered decking and on the grass beside the property watching the sheep and a moorhen with her chicks by the large pond. Very peaceful property and flexible bedrooms,sociable living/kitchen area,parking outside on the property. We were visiting for a family wedding nearby at Verzon House but did manage to visit The Nest Cafe for delicious lunch and Wellington Garden Centre a bit further afield but well worth the journey. We shall return!

Absolutely perfect, peaceful and beautiful! We stayed here overnight whilst attending a wedding not far away. The hosts were welcoming and friendly, the annexe is very clean and tidy, very peaceful and well appointed. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we were in the area!

Really enjoyed our weekend in this lovely, cozy accomodation on a working farm and walking distance to the charming Ross-on-Wye.

We really enjoyed our stay with Sydney who was a very friendly and responsive host. The apartment is spacious, well-equipped and very clean and in a great location for walking into Ross or visiting the surrounding area. Syd gave us lots of local recommendations and made sure we had a fantastic stay.
