Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Helford River

We had a lovely stay here in May 2025. The check in process was incredibly straight forward and the hosts very responsive with the whole process. The flat is lovely, with great views of Falmouth Town and harbour. It is situated in a great location and all amenities within the town and harbour side are easily within walking distance. The flat was also very clean and well equipped. Would highly recommend this property and hope to visit again in the near future!

My family and I have stayed at quite a few AirBnBs now around the world, and this one will always be remembered as one of the most special. It’s a beautiful and spotlessly clean apartment, with gorgeous furniture, luxurious shower room and comfortable beds, but the real beauty of spending time at Quayside is delivered by Daniel and Ross. They are such warm, welcoming and kind hosts full of helpful local knowledge… a stay here is a pleasure from start to finish! Mevagissey is a fascinating little working harbour town, and there’s so much to do in the surrounding area. We loved walking a small section of the South West coast path from Porthpean to Charlestown. Thank you Daniel and Ross… you really are wonderful people offering something very special.

Had an amazing weekend in st Ives thanks to Paul who sent instructions beforehand and upon arrival the place was immaculate. Beds were super comfy my 5 year old even slept in which is VERY unlike him🤣 Great location restaurants are 5⭐️ And the views from the apartment you could watch all day and the beaches are beautiful Would definitely recommend if your looking to book :)

I can't recommend this apartment enough. It was spacious, clean, secure and peaceful. we stayed Monday to Friday so it may be a little noisier at the weekends (earplugs are provided!). We wouldn't hesitate to suggest a stay to our friends for convenience and good access to all facilities and venues around. Absolutely great.

Great location with fantastic sea views from the lounge & bedrooms. Easily walkable into town. The apartment was very clean and tidy with everything we needed for a few nights stay. Lovely decor & very well maintained. Laura was very communicative and check in & out was simple.

My wife and I had a marvelous one week stay in this cosy and tranquil condo with panoramic views of gorgeous Carbis Bay and easy access to public transport, including the local rail service that runs between St Ives and St Erth just five minutes walk downhill. Spotlessly clean and well provisioned, with a huge light filled kitchen featuring newer appliances, and one of the bathrooms conveniently located downstairs. It was such a pleasure staying in a place reflecting pride of ownership and professional management, creating a thoroughly enjoyable guest experience. The master bedroom mattress was a bit too soft for us, but we seem to be the outliers based on reviews. Highly recommend.

Beautiful, spacious and peaceful apartment located within an easy walk to Maenporth beach through the field. Gill is a very well informed and responsive host and the apartment was very well provisioned with all you would need including for self catering with excellent kitchen facilities. Good disabled access into the ground floor flat with a disabled space right outside on a first come first served basis. There is a dedicated parking space too. Maenporth beach is gorgeous I had a fantastic early morning walk down with lovely coffee at beach cafe.

Its a perfect little place for 2 in an absolutely beautiful location....the views from the flat are amazing and St Mawes has everything you need.....our new favourite place ❤️

Probably the nicest place we have ever stayed! Deserves more than 5 stars. The location couldn't be better to get straight out to lots of beaches, bars etc. St Ives streets are small and traffic is restricted 930am to 4pm on the street but outside these times we found it easy to unload then booked a parking space 10 mins walk away on JustPark. The view has to be seen, it's even better than it looks... when people stop at the balcony for a picture you know it's the perfect spot - and we helped take a couple of pictures for them from above! The best thing was having a nice glass of wine on the armchairs with the windows open and listening to the waves and watching the change in tides. Spa bathroom was unreal as was everything really. Already looking at dates to come back! We also enjoyed Johns Wine Bar, The Host (had great live music), Mor Beach Cafe for morning rolls and James King for beautiful St Ives jewellery. Thanks again David we loved it all!

We had such a great time at Collingswood. The house was lovely, really spacious, well appointed, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The setting was beautiful, peaceful and surrounded by nature, with the beach just a short walk away and loads of countryside to explore nearby. It’s also just a short drive to Falmouth! Charlotte was so helpful and welcoming, and her instructions were clear and easy to follow. We’d love to come back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it!

Great place to stay has an amazingly equipped kitchen the best we have stayed in which is great if you love to cook. Loved the aga in the kitchen. Beds were very comfortable. Such a fantastic spot for a family break.

This is a truly unique and incredible property, perfect for large families or groups. If anything, the beautiful photos in the listing fail to adequately capture just how nice the property and its idyllic waterfront setting are. Joanna’s home is a perfect base for enjoying the southern reaches of Cornwall, or just relaxing in the home itself and drinking in the scenery. Our group particularly enjoyed sitting outdoors alongside the water/coastal inlet, and watching the dramatic tidal shifts. The kids in our group absolutely loved the area: plenty of interesting things to see and do in the tidal flats, and enjoyed brisk swims when the tide was in.

This is our 2nd stay at The Loft and we are so pleased we went back! The Loft is beautiful and cosy, we felt right at home straight away. It was very clean and provided everything we needed for our stay plus more. Liz kindly provided extras for our baby including a comfy travel cot, bath seat and bouncer seat. There are lots of board games and toys for the children which is great! Liz is very friendly and responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending. Thank you!

An amazing find with a beautiful view of the sea, even from bed! Was super relaxing waking up with that view! We did wear sleep masks as it can get super bright but worth it for the views 🥰🥰 Everything we needed was available, and although no garden for doggos, there is plenty of areas for them to go out along the road, and near coastal path! Bed was SUPER comfy and the shower was amazing! Melinda was super helpful if we had a question and was so kind!

Great host who provided lots of local knowledge. The property was amazing with great views and very relaxing. Just what we needed.

Fisherman's cottage simon an excellent location with parking right outside. The house was perfect for 6 people as well. Lovely to have the outside space with the terrace which was lovely to sit and have a drink. Had everything we needed to be able to cook. Will defiantly look to book again. St Mawes is lovely and we would look to stay again xxx

The location is perfect. Train and busstation are in walking distance. The apartment and views are absolutely beautiful, you definitely pay for this though, personally I found it quite a bit pricey but it was worth it.

My daughter and I stayed for a few days and the apartment was perfect. Great location, very close to shops, restaurants and the beach. Apartment was clean, tidy and looked exactly like the photos. View was beautiful! Has everything you would need. Paul was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions I had. We had an amazing few days in St Ives and will definitely be staying at the apartment again in the future.

Modern spacious flat in a great location. The facilities were excellent and we appreciated the private car park. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

So nice to arrive after a long journey to find the water hot with excellent shower facilities, a welcoming comfortable bed with good quality bedding. We were told it was dog friendly, so we were appreciative to find bowls, towel etc., should you forget. The location was ideal for exploring the North Coast and we made full use of our NT membership. Wonderful dog friendly beaches and eating establishments very accomodating. we particularly enjoyed Godrevy and Holywell Coves. ''Tap House'' in St Agnes is a must , great food reasonably priced , but make sure you book and allow time for parking.

This is a small apartment and it is perfect for 2 adults. The location of the apartment is excellent for walks along the South west coast path. There is a nice little fish and chip shop and a pub, in the village, that both serve good food. I am a Coeliac on a Gluten Free diet and I had no problem eating at both establishments. The location of this Airbnb is definitely worth the money.

Great place, beautiful view, well stocked. Will be back.
