Kristine’s furr babies were so friendly and made my visit, they greeted me each morning with wags and hello’s, they were constrained to porch while she was away or for quiet time. Kristine was the most conscience host to making me feel comfortable and looking at all details. Would visit again

Right from the start, both Richard and Debra were kind and helpful in every way! They are friendly, and treated us extremely well, even helping me with my disabled husband, and carrying things to help us. The cottage is clean, well stocked, with nice linens and is tastefully decorated! The yard is beautiful and spacious, great for picnics and games. Located 1.5 miles from town, food and shopping. Such a fun and convenient place to stay! We were here for 3 months while shopping for a house, and it worked out perfectly!!

We loved our stay, Della was super friendly. The home had an amazing view and the property is in a great location you’re not far from town. We had everything we needed there for cooking our meals, we are already planning our next stay here!

Stayed as a family four, two year old and five year old, and found the house to be the perfect size for our family. All listed amenities were available and since we booked the property was updated to now include a beautiful new deck in the back of the house with a grill and traeger smoker. Both kids greatly enjoyed the playset and the fenced in yard gave us peace of mind with the kids running around. Would recommend staying here and Michael is a great host who is responsive to messages and provides clear check in/check out instructions.

If you love quiet and the outdoors, this is definitely the house for you. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kids loved using the paddle boat & kayaks. The dock is perfect to fish from, even in the rain. Night time fishing gets lively thanks to the green light on the dock. Tip, if you night time fish, use steel leaders or the Gar will snap your line every time.

This is our 3rd trip here. Always recommend staying here! It’s absolutely perfect.

Enjoyed our stay although we were at a horse show so left early, back late. Great to have the space for 8 of us to spread out and get some rest each night. Very helpful and responsive host.

Our family of 5, including 3 teenagers, had a lovely time at Alex’s home for spring break. The home was well maintained and had all the necessities needed. The location was perfect for us to unwind from our busy routines. Pleasing teenagers is one hard task but this house did the trick with fishing, paddle boards, and the hot tub. While there were enough bedrooms for each kid, they decided the bunk bed room was their favorite so they all stayed in there! Alex was very responsive to the questions we had during our stay. We would definitely consider coming back again!

Perfect place for my husband’s family yearly reunion, the house is an old country home, that’s what my husband and sisters loved the most. There is a barn, like an old small church, they were amazed by it, they spent a good time there singing hymns and praising. Lovely and memorable time for the family. The perfect spot! Mabe cabin is awesome. Located in the bottom of a valley. Waking up to the beautiful hillsides as we enjoyed our morning coffee. Loved the wild turkey hen every morning coming down off the roost. The views from the top of the mountains are u describable. A must see.

We loved our stay here! The host was great at communicating and the home was very clean. We will definitely stay again when we are in the area!

We had a great relaxing weekend away and unplugged to an extent. The view of the lake from the cabin is great, the area is secluded even though you kind of share with the tent campers a few hundred yards away. It was a tiny bit smaller than I was imagining but it was just what we wanted. My boyfriend would have a few minor suggestions to make it a little more convenient in some ways but overall it was great, the hosts were wonderful and made us feel right at home. We had a thunderstorm the last night we were there and it didn’t leak and held up to the winds and downpour! Thanks for a great getaway!

What a cozy and welcoming cabin! Wanda was a great host, very nice and informative. The cabin was clean and smelled great upon arrival. We felt right at home. Beautiful surroundings. Nice and quiet. We appreciated the thoughtful amenities. We would stay again.

This is an exceptional destination. Absolutely beautiful and the river was very relaxing to hear. The mountains and the animals we saw were an added bonus. It is everything and more than we were hoping for. We will absolutely return.

Our stay was wonderful and cozy. Aside from a small inconvenience the first night, we felt well taken care of. Phil was super responsive and handled our issue professionally and timely. Such a peaceful location! We enjoyed sitting on the porch and listening to the river, birds and bugs :). The cabin was well supplied and the hosts did a great job of ensuring that essentials were all covered with more than enough for the duration of our stay, and we really appreciate it. Our dogs had a great time playing in the yard. I cannot think of a more peaceful place to stay.
