We have owned and operated a bar/restaurant for 40 years in a busy northern Wisconsin tourist town. We loved the peace and quiet of the area yet only 15-20 minutes to get supplies. Very relaxing for us. Would definitely recommend. Very well stocked and traveling with a 3 month old, the baby stuff really was handy for us.

Robert's beautiful house is the best Airbnb stay I've ever had. We are a two-generation family and stayed there for nine nights. Our stay was unforgettable, and we decided to return to stay here on the first night. We enjoyed every meal on the lanai, taking in the ocean view and listening to the birds. The house is artistically curated and minimal yet has everything you need. I have never stayed at a fully equipped Airbnb like Robert's place. It offers a wide range of beach gear. They even provide toys for small children. Nothing is lacking. They welcomed us with a basket full of tropical fruits. In the fridge, fresh eggs and bread were prepared. There is a wide selection of coffee and tea. In addition, they had an organic garden on the property from which we were allowed to harvest vegetables. Robert's local recommendations are also curated and reliable. Pahoa is a bit far from Hilo and Volcano, but you will enjoy a peaceful time and gorgeous views from the lanai. Highly recommend!

Bread, milk, eggs, biscuits, chocolate, coffee... all kinds of fruits were prepared in advance and were very delicious. They also thoughtfully introduced us to the surrounding environment, attractions, and books about the surrounding features. You can cook your own meals. The environment is very good, conducive to sleep, clean and hygienic. The garden is very large, the garden is very beautiful, there is self-service laundry. The host never disturbed us after we checked in. They extended our stay for 1 hour free of charge when we checked out. There is a large terrace, suitable for friends to gather, barbecue, in short, it is a very good stay experience. Very good

We can't rave enough about the Pineapple Cottage. It was beautiful, peaceful, and a great way to unwind after our super busy days exploring the East side of the island and VNP. My husband would have ate himself sick on Lychees if I let him. We made friends with geckos, the resident dogs, Lucy and Molly and of course the friendly neigbourhood duck, Frankie. Coffee in the mornings on the lanai was a dream and we slept soundly listening to the frogs every night. Thank you to Madeleine and her family - they were great hosts and brought us farm fresh eggs one day which were delicious. We want to come back and hope we are able to in the future!

Such a beautiful peaceful sanctuary… Everything was absolutely perfect, the Gorgeous flowers sitting on the dining room table overlooking the Ocean view Lani and fragrant Tuberose Lei’s Aloha the housekeeper gave to us to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary was such an extremely beautiful and special surprise for us as we walked through the door of the cottage 🥹We so dearly loved sounds of the Island frogs and birds🌺… 😉just remember, keep the lights off at night so the Roosters don’t get confused and crow because they see light. They’ll stay quite until morning light that way🐓🐣🐥🐥🐥♥️🥰

I've housed multiple employees at a few different properties managed by this company for extended periods, and each experience has been consistently excellent. The homes are always clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully furnished for longer stays. What really stands out is the team’s willingness to go above and beyond to accommodate our needs — whether it was adjusting check-in times, assisting with special requests, or responding quickly to any questions, their support has been outstanding. We’re so grateful to have found such a reliable and thoughtful host, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again.

Great location - a quick and easy 15 minute drive to multiple beaches, restaurants, and shops. Ranae was able to give us suggestions for restaurants, beautiful beaches, and gorgeous hikes during the day and we spent the evenings relaxing on the deck with a perfect view of the sunset every night. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit.

Tsing's place is an absolute steal, a gem in a quiet beautiful neighborhood. Her yard is beautiful and full of Asian aesthetics. The infinity pool on the backyard looks over the coastline facing the west with an amazing view of the sunset. In addition, Tsing is a very friendly host with good local recommendations. I want to stay here again the next time I visit Kona again.

We stayed 10 nights at Jonas's place and all in all we had a great time there. Jonas is an excelent host, very friendly and easy to communicate with. He gave us a lot of tips what to do and showed us some less touristy spots to visit. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely time here! Great location only 15 minutes from Volcanos national park and 30 min from Hilo. Place was nice and tidy, with all the amenities we needed. You can take paved roads all the way in but the last block by taking Mauna Kea Drive. Lots of labeling everywhere and careful to shower off before taking a bath in the nice tub. Would stay here again!

Booking was easy and user friendly. Just like the images, everything was exactly as pictured. Everything was clean, organized and in working order. Very quiet neighborhood. Love that I can buy groceries and cook like if I was at home and save a little money for souvenirs. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Love the back patio with places to sit and enjoy the fresh air. Diana is an awesome host. Met her and she was very friendly. House keeper was also a nice and hard working lady. Will definitely be coming back to this airbnb next year. Thanks!

We had the most wonderful and memorable stay at the Dolphin Retreat! The pictures of the house overlooking Kealakekua Bay and the experience of being right on that epic, gorgeous, sacred body of water do not compare with how mesmerizing and awe-inspiring it truly is. We never wanted to leave the area it was so magical. Best snorkeling and kayaking on Big Island!! The 5 of us were very comfortable and we loved the open air lanai, the open dining area, all the birds, the friendly neighbors, the big open kitchen with lots of amenities when we did cook meals. And the sound of the waves all day and evening and mind-altering sunsets. We hope to stay here again!! Very grateful for this kind host and beautiful place.
