Family-friendly holiday rentals in Harare Province

I have just found my new home when in Harare. The apartment is gem in the quieter side of the Harare CBD.

I really enjoyed my stay at George and Pauline’s apartment 😊…awesome hosts. A fabulous apartment and majestic sorroundings with a large yard where you can take a walk and relax getting some fresh air. A lovely , quiet and safe and secure environment . I couldn’t ask for a better place to stay and it was worth more than i pay for 😊. I will definitely be back there if im in the city again and i greatly recommend the place.

It was so so clean. Good number of clean towels, extra 2 blankets. They had salt, cooking oil tissue teas and coffees all arranged in small quantities which makes it easy for those doing short stays. I will definitely come back.

Always a pleasure to stay at Mufaros guesthouse. It always feels like home and has become our second home. Would not stay anywhere else when in Zim. Such a great and lovely place to stay with family. Lorraine was always helpful and available whenever we needed her. Had a great vacation and will surely and definitely visit again.

Nice place and not far away from the shopping mall, quiet too. Secure parking a plus. Benjamin was helpful, friendly and provided additional information about the neighbourhood and other nearby places. I would highly recommend anyone travelling alone or with family to stay at Lesley's.

We had a great stay with Felix and his family. The little cottage is in the grounds of their house and was clean, comfortable and perfect for our few days in Harare. Beds were very comfortable with plenty of warm blankets for those chilly Harare nights. Having a fridge, kettle etc were really useful. Felix and his wife are really friendly and kind people, when we found ourselves in a problem (not related to Felix or the house), he and his wife went out of their way to help us out and we are so grateful to them. I would definitely a visit to Zim - it's an incredible country full of amazing things to see and do and also full of kind and welcoming people just like Felix. Make this your Harare stopover!

Perfect stay at Gayle's little cottage, ideally located and with a cool atmosphere (garden, privacy, easy for our dogs, very kind staffs onsite...). Very fair in terms of prices. Mostly recommended!

The place is peaceful

We enjoyed our stay with Regina. The house is clean and well equipped. Regina is always available to help or chat. The neighbourhood is also very efficient and close to a lot of things.

Another lovely stay at the ‘Square House’ at 2 Hathaway Close. Beauty and Stewart looked after me so well as the hosts were away. The ‘square house’ is large and homely with everything I needed. Hot water and the ‘Zimbabwe’ electricity behaved itself! My favourite part was sitting outside on my own private patio at different times of the day, so peaceful with just the typical African sounds. This patio has full view and access to Patrice and Aad’s huge and wonderfully cared for African garden. The location is perfect for both Harare and Mnanagwe roads. I so look forward to next time!

Karen and her family were tremendous hosts. Nestled in a beautiful part of Harare, Karen’s cottage offers a home away from home for business travelers or small families. The apartment is cleaned on a daily basis, there are laundry services available on site for a fee, a beautiful pool, and tennis court and a well manicured yard are at your disposal. For those of you that rely on WiFi for work, the connection is solid and constant. She also took the time to put crossants and homemade marmalade in the fridge every day to make sure I started the day off on a good note! The house is located a beautiful 10 minute walk to the bus stop where it’s a quick ride to town for only 50 cents. I thought this was great value for money and would highly recommend. These are great people that will make sure you have a pleasant and memorable stay. Thanks a lot, Karen!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the airbnb. The house was clean and the surrounding areas quiet. The location was perfect with shops and restaurants less than 5 minutes away. The host was extremely attentive and resolved all of our issues quickly, if we messaged she’d arrive in less than 10 minutes. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to all.

I’ve been staying at this BnB in Chisipiti for the past three years whenever I visit Zimbabwe, and it never disappoints. It’s a peaceful, reliable getaway with beautiful views and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

From beginning to end Pevensey studio was extraordinary. The hosts are incredible, we felt very supported during the stay and felt like home. Highly recommend this beautiful property, loved the attention to detail in both the interior design and the landscaping. The studio is located within a short stroll to restaurants and supermarkets. Loved every second we spent here and highly recommend it for anyone visiting Harare.
