Hwaeng is located in the middle of Jeonju, in Taepyeong-dong, Wansan-gu. Taepyeong-dong was the center of transportation and commercial district with the first Jeonju Station and Yeoncho Manufacturing Building in the past, and it was built in 1969 with 50m2 in the residential alley, a village of merchants, utilizing the flood and geography at that time. Nowadays, the buildings of the past are disappearing and apartments and modern buildings are being built, but Hwaeng () was designed as a private stay for reflection as it was at that time. The name "Hwa-yeong" was created by comparing the flower that lives between the asphalt and concrete buildings to a flower blooming in the asphalt. In order to embody the flower that runs through Hwaeng, it is expressed concisely and clearly without losing the balance of yin and yang, and the beauty of symmetry and modernity, based on the materials that embodied the image of the Korean flower in the past. A flower in the city center, it responds with that flower.

The old lighthouse stairs from the Czech Republic retain their unique beauty, and as we climb them, we feel like we are traveling through the past and present at the same time. In addition, the harmony of the wooden pillars unique to hanok and the extremely Korean landscape that blends with the floorboard holds a deeper story as time passes. You can see the sea and islands in the distance, and behind the house, there is a mountain with a pine forest. It is a pretty country house with a cute garden, a tidy living room, and a simple hinoki bathtub on the rooftop where you can enjoy a hot bath while looking at the moon, stars, and mountains. Staying here is healing in itself. THE BADA... It's the perfect place to have a quiet rest with your loved one. ■ Capsule coffee (1 cup per person) is provided as a welcome drink. ■ For barbecue, a grill, grate (wire mesh), tongs, torch, and gloves are provided free of charge, so you only need to buy charcoal. ■ A Netflix account is connected, so you can watch. It is a 15-minute drive to Jukrim New Town (where the intercity bus terminal and E-Mart are located). It takes 25-30 minutes to get to the main tourist attractions (Jungang Market, Dongpirang, Luge, Cable Car).

El Hanok Stay

El Hanok Stay was newly built as a private hanok guesthouse, which was opened in April 2023 after a year of remodeling construction by purchasing a 1975 house in May 2022. We tried to add more modern convenience while adding the style of hanok, and tried to add color by adding European style. It is located in the center of Hwangnidan-gil, and it is located near Hwangnidan-gil restaurants (next to Cheongonchae) and cafes (Olive), right next to the location where you can go to Gyeongju tourist attractions such as Daereungwon (Cheonmachong), Cheomseongdae, Donggung, and Wolji. Jacuzzi in Hanok is available for a fee. It is 30,000 KRW in Korean money when using for a fee.

You can also find the footprints of dinosaurs from 100 million years ago at the nearby <Gain Dinosaur Footprint Fossil Site> with your children. We also recommend that you enjoy fishing at the Cheonpo breakwater in front of the village.
