Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Hancock

We couldn’t say enough great things about Sam’s place! We traveled here over New Years and after a problem with our original AirBnB Sam was quick to respond and even helped to get us in early, saving our entire trip! The home is the cozy, clean and modern. Located on a quiet street close to downtown, we enjoyed hanging out in the living room by the wood burning stove or in the backyard with our pups. The house was spacious with 4 bedrooms and 1 and 1/2 bathrooms. All the rooms were spotless with comfortable beds and we felt right and home for our stay. We would recommend this place to anyone and can’t thank Sam and her family enough! Will be sure to visit again.

We enjoyed a short ski trip to Berkshire East. M's place was comfortable, spacious and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and make coffee. They even had dog bowls and treats for our pup! Snow removal was completed early, allowing us to get out and on the slopes for the day. As M says in the description, you definitely need a vehicle with AWD or 4X4 since you are nestled in the mountains. We enjoyed the bountiful binder with history of the small town and local attractions. I would caution people with young children and older folks about the steep staircase to the 2nd floor where the bedrooms are. The 1 full bath is on the first floor so if you're like me, you need to navigate the stairs in the middle of the night. We didn't mind this since it is part of the charm of a historic building and our family of four including two teens had no problems. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return!

We’ve stayed at Kathy’s Yellow Door many times, or kids call it our vacation home. Kathy is a great host and she will always strive to make your stay enjoyable and stress free (unless you have a toddler like we do). Don’t hesitate to stay at Yellow Door.

Good location -- within 10 minutes of everything we were there for (town, skiing). The hot tub was excellent. Well-stocked kitchen, linens and the place was very clean!

Nilsa’s home was nothing short of amazing! Us siblings came up from Georgia, Florida and Washington to spend the weekend with our mom and dad before the crazy Christmas chaos. Nilsa was very accommodating, she had wonderful communication! Everything was as described and we cannot wait to come back!! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home Nilsa!

My friend and I had a lovely two-night stay at Julie's place. The house is the perfect retreat—peaceful, cozy, and beautifully located. We especially enjoyed the evenings by the wood-burning stove and long, leisurely breakfasts on the porch while listening to the river. The beds were incredibly comfortable, with high-quality pillows and bedding—we both slept so well! I would definitely love to come back someday with my husband to enjoy the peace and quiet, as well as everything else the Berkshires has to offer. Place was great! Less than 10 minutes to Mount Snow. We had fun playing ping-pong, air hokey, pool, and darts! Relaxed by the wood burning stove. Lots of rooms and beds.

If your looking for a great quiet stay while visiting Hudson or other local places this home is it. Very clean, super dog friendly. Close to the highways and hidden enough to really be apart of nature.

I chose to stay at Donna's a second stay because I appreciate the quiet neighborhood and very, clean comfortable home. Communication with Donna is easy and friendly.

The place is a large upstairs apartment built into a single family home with a business on the first floor. Very Chester. Comfortable and warm. Everything was and felt clean, no worries there.

We had another wonderful weekend at Barbara & Chad's suite. We've stayed there multiple times and love it for our family of four. The hosts are always responsive and so very helpful. We also love the nearby Berkshire East Mountain resort and nearby local towns. Looking forward to our next visit!

Loved staying at Cooper’s place—it was so clean and welcoming. One of the best places to stay in town!

Very happy with our stay at Frank’s in North Adams. Super friendly host and perfect place to enjoy a mixed bag of weather, mostly decent for early April, easy and content to both go out to see the city and just stay in to hang out in the three season porch or watch a movie. Great recommendations from our host for outdoor places to check out. Walkable. Peaceful. Would hope to stay here again

Melissa was a fantastic host. She was flexible on check-in and check-out and very generously lent us her snow brush to clean off our car after an unexpected and beautiful snowfall overnight. The area was exactly the peaceful, nature-filled escape we had hoped for. 10/10 would come back and stay here again - we were sad to hear we'd be one of the last stays.

Leo and Michelle were very responsive with any questions we had, and even reached out to offer us an early check in. The location was close enough to our places of interest, while still being slightly rural. The place looked just like the pictures and we felt right at home. We will stay there again when we return!

We stayed for 2 nights mid-week to do some hiking and relaxing. The cabin was perfect. There was a Walmart nearby to pick up food and other necessities. It was also a short drive (about 30 minutes ) to the Kaaterskill Falls. Everything was clean and we had what we needed for the stay. All instructions were easy to understand and the one time we had a question Max responded within minutes.

So beautiful! Had a great time just relaxing in the cabin. Very clean and comfortable. Brian and Stephanie were so kind and quick to respond. Will absolutely book again, especially in the summer!

Amazing stay in the woods!!! Got to spend the night with our 4 kiddos and really enjoy the beauty that is southern Vermont !!! Highly recommended!!!

Perfect for a winter getaway! The cabin was so cozy and comfortable, and the location is beautiful and remote. The hot tub was a huge plus and the host was incredibly friendly and responsive

This place was perfect for a peaceful weekend getaway. On the chilly fall weekend the wood stove and sauna were much enjoyed. We hope to return!

Jack and Donna's cabin was exactly as described. We loved our stay, so peaceful and quiet. Their rustic cabin has everything that we needed to enjoy a quick get away, beautiful surroundings and a warm fire for the chilly nights. Even though the cabin is off-the-grid, the lights (both solar and gas) were more than enough to provide light to read a good book and play some board games. The kitchen is well appointed with pots and pans, dishes, and cooking utensils. We very much look forward to returning to this lovely place and exploring more of the area!

This is the perfect cabin retreat. Beautiful property with incredible back porch views, stunning fireplace, creekside access, and gobbling turkeys in the distance. It was just what I was looking for to celebrate a birthday with friends. Secluded enough to feel private but close enough to a charming town for drinks and coffee. Jim was also super communicative and made it easy to settle in—he even gave me a heads up about the weather that weekend to make sure we were packed appropriately. I was considering a couple of places, and I’m so happy I chose this one. Highly recommend a visit. P.S. The heated floors are a really nice touch.
