IMPORTANT: our amazing housekeeper is available Monday and Friday only. So, we can offer Mon-Fri, Fri-Mon, Mon-Mon or Fri-Fri stays. At the edge of a wildflower meadow with mountain views, this beautifully furnished glamping tent has two queen beds, front porch and private rear deck. Each of our four tents has a kitchenette in the Lodge. Sweet new Bath House. Enjoy wood-fired pizza (most but not all nights) and our new all natural wood hot tub (booked for private experience for $25) . 40 acres of meadows, woods, pond, streams and trails. Nightly bonfires and star gazing, a nearby lake and rafting in the Hudson River.

The Speculator Guest House is fully renovated to offer an elevated and thoughtful stay. Guests love the outdoor sauna, Sunday to Wednesday private chef brunch or dinner, espresso maker, fully stocked kitchen, and everything you need for a campfire under the string lights. Walk to the grocery store, restaurants, shops, or the sandy beach on Lake Pleasant (.6 miles). Each guest receives individualized local recommendations. We live in the area year round and love to share our favorite places.

Walk across the street and bushwack for miles and miles. OK Slip Falls trailhead is less than a mile away. Skiing at Gore Mountain is 10 minutes away. There are endless things to do in the area-fishing, skiing, hiking, multiple museums, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, kayaking and canoeing to start your getaway!
