The Woodsy Retreat was just what we needed for our weekend trip to Indianapolis for a family wedding. We planned to stay in the city close to the venue but soon realized the city life was not for us - Especially for our daughter’s dog. The quiet peaceful location was perfect despite the rainy weekend. We could relax in the “home away from home” and enjoy our family time away from the bustle. Only a 35 minute commute to downtown Indianapolis. We will recommend this to others as we appreciate the close proximity, easy access and peaceful area.

We booked this home on short notice (less than two hours prior to our arrival) and Jonathan was an excellent host. The home was clean and ready for us, plenty of space, very safe area with great walkability to shopping and restaurants, and only took an easy 20 min drive to all of our downtown activities. Plenty of linen, cooking equipment, and loved having a garage and large yard!

Nice property. Easy to find. Clean. Spacious. Has everything you need. The listing and pictures are accurate. It's also accurate that you'll use all the steps. Garage and one bedroom on the ground floor. Living, dining, kitchen, laundry, half bath on the second floor. Third floor has the master, second bed and full bath and loft. 10 foot ceilings on the second floor adds a couple stairs to your daily cardio. Access to the garage is a major plus. Great coffee shop right across the street and other shops and places to eat within walking distance. It is just south of a major street. It happened to be closed due to construction during our stay but traffic noise is still noticeable most of the time. Regardless, this property is in a great location to get to so many fantastic places within 5-20 minutes. Definitely would stay again.

We were in town to see family and friends with our 3 boys (all under 5). The home is beautiful with plenty of space and rooms located well for the kids to be able to sleep at night and still have a fully useable home. The back deck was awesome for lunch and dinner seating when the weather cooperates. Our boys had a TON of fun watching the water, boats pass, and fishing. The location is awesome. It's a quiet area with a brand new Meijer smaller grocery store about 5 mins away. 35 mins to downtown and really easy to get to and from. I can't recommend this home enough for a family trip and the opportunity to make great memories!

Since we were in town for a sports event, we travel with a large family. Needless to say, I think we're mostly done with hotels. Susie's place was exceptionally accommodating! The home was well kept and fit our family perfectly. The kids had space to stretch out and the parents could sleep in peace, iykyk! The garage was also very useful as well, allowing for a large vehicle and convenience in and out of the home. Overall, we really enjoyed our time and the space and the convenience to where we needed to be. A definite "go to" spot for next season!

From the moment I inquired about the property Michael went above and beyond! The best communication and accommodating host I have ever dealt with. The home was clean, cozy and had everything you could possibly need. Extra supplies, toiletries, snacks upon arrival! Five stars without a doubt! Hands down did not disappoint! I appreciated his willingness to work around my daughter’s soccer schedule. We felt at home from the moment we arrived. If we are ever in this area again I will without a doubt stay here! So many options as well restaurants, coffee, grocery store, you name it! Our personal favorite restaurant was Grindstone on the Monon! Again, Michael hands down went above and beyond for my family!

We were super glad to find Cara's place after another reservation (different host, not on Airbnb) fell thru last minute. The house was very nice, clean, and just the right size place for our family. We were also happy to find out that their company helps a local missions ministry. So cool! We would definitely book this place again when we return to Indiana for next basketball season!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is so fun and beautiful. There is art everywhere. We were always discovering something new. The place was super clean and tidy. The patio, garden and hosting were great to relax in. The kitchen was well stocked, the bathrooms were clean and the bedrooms were comfortable and roomy. We would stay there again most definitely!
