We have 3 great camping spots in the village, with barbecue facilities for those who want to… We also have a 24-hour shop about 1.5 km from Dukkestua. There is a walking and cycling path to get there. Some Saturdays, we have a pub on the quay… It's very popular.

Bojastua, a Nordland idyll from the 1800s.

Bojastua is peacefully located between mountains and sea in Røsvik in Hamarøy municipality, 6 km from Skutvik, with a 24-hour shop, and 14 km from the municipal centre Oppeid. From Skutvik, there is a fast boat to Bodø and Svolvær all year round, and in the summer there is a ferry to Svolvær (Lofoten). Bojastua is a lived-in house with charm, crooked floors, a steep staircase and nostalgia. There is a lot of life and history in the walls here. Hamarøy is known for its fantastic nature and endless hiking opportunities, which are definitely worth experiencing.

Enjoy the tranquility of beautiful surroundings at Strøksnes. Over 100 years old small house that is under renovation. Nice view, short distance to the river or the sea for swimming, football pitch, barbecue facilities, nice fishing opportunities, short distance to Bjørklund farm where they sell cinnamon buns, pick-your-own strawberries/raspberries. A small local shop about 3.5 km away, limited opening hours. Fine hiking areas. About 300 m to the ski slope. Driving distance to Hamarøy, Steigen and Rago National Park.

The Old House of our farm, charming house with a spectacular mountain wiew! The house is built about 1880, the bathroom and the kitchen is renovated. Here you can travel back in time, no tv.. The stairs scueecs, and the floor can be a bit cold in the winter, but all is forgotten when you fire up the fireplace. The island is perfect for hiking, biking and kajaking. Check in after 4 p.m, check out before 12 a.m. Transportation to or from the boat can be arranged. We wish you a peaceful stay.

Rural small detached house

Forget your worries in a peaceful place in rural surroundings. Welcome to accommodation if you need 1 night or more. Rich hiking area if you want to walk or ski. Pets are allowed, cleaning included for up to 2 nights. Bed linen is included. 2 bedrooms with 2 double beds per room + 1 single bed The detached house also includes a small guest cottage in summer in a common garden/outdoor area. Stairs to enter the house and the small cottage, otherwise the apartment is on one floor.

Glamping Nordland - Dome - Arctic light

The Domes are placed above a garden where raspberries are grown. The Domes are in nature with a fantastic view of the mountains and the fjord. You can see the sky from your bed. During the winter you might even see stars, the moon – or the northern lights? Homemade breakfast with fresh bread and local products is served in a refurbished barn. The Domes are without electricity, but wood for heating is provided. WC, shower, electricity and WiFi are provided in the barn - 100 m walk.

Do you want a cabin by the sea? Enjoy the tranquility of scenic surroundings or experience the midnight sun in the summer and the glittering northern lights in the winter? Hamarøy has amazing nature and great fishing opportunities. We have the famous author Knut Hamsund. Here you will find galleries, museums, spa, shop, etc. Our short way to adventurous Tranøy, 30 min drive to Skutvik. There is a ferry across the Vestfjord to Lofoten. The speedboat can go south to Bodø.

Bright and pleasant cabin of about 45 sqm. 1 × 150 cm bed and single bunk bed. There is an extra mattress and bed in the loft. Mini fridge in the kitchen. Washing machine and freezer in the storage room. Toilet, sink and shower in the bathroom. Gazebo on the mountain by the sea. Large lawn with playground and trees to attach hammocks to. Small gas grill that can be used. 2 bicycles that can be used. Outdoor toys and games for children are also available.

Røtnes is a beautiful bay on the stunning island of Engeløya, just opposite the Lofoten Islands. On the island you can find pristine, white beaches, mountains and valleys and the sea is crystal clear with plenty of fish. In our homestead we have a generous size barn where we have an artist studio, workshops and the guest studio apartment that we offer up as Air B&B. A wooden rowing boat, a canoe, kayaks and bikes to rent in spring, summer and autumn.
