Kuma no Yaha is a traditional Japanese-style house inn located on the banks of the Oigawa River, limited to one group per day. The 90-year-old traditional house was carefully renovated, with comfortable bathrooms, while retaining the charm of the old building.It is a space with polished black beams, the scent of tatami mats, old-fashioned fittings and patterned glass. Open the sliding doors to reveal a large 34 tatami-mat space connecting four Japanese-style rooms.It's fine even if small children run around. The kitchen is equipped with a full range of cooking utensils, tableware and basic condiments. Everyone gathered around the dinner table, chatting until late at night, or relaxing under the kotatsu. It feels like we're gathered at someone's country house, and the time passes with a touch of nostalgia. We don't offer any fancy services, but we have created a space where you can have a pleasant stay, with seasonal flowers and sun-dried cotton futons. I would be delighted if you could escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and spend time with your loved ones.
