House holiday rentals in Halfmoon Bay

We enjoyed our stay. The airbnb was spacious and had everything we needed for our 2 week stay. We were in Parksville awaiting the birth of our grandson so it was a nice place to pass the time until baby's arrival. We had everything we needed to cook our own meals, the area has lots of nice walking trails, we enjoyed using the hot tub and the view from our unit was a nice surprise.

When I read other guests reviews, I could tell that Janet sincerely cared for all of her guests. If you are searching for a home away from home, stop searching because Janet is the GEM in the Sunshine Coast treasure box.

It was a beautiful home for the 10 of us when ample space to feel very comfortable. We had trouble with pool being not heated but Tanner was very helpful and quick to respond and helped us get it working again. The home is so cozy and clean and we would highly recommend it to other large groups.

What a wonderful house in a fantastic location. The house was very homely and restful and was more than adequate for our eight family members. Penny and Andy were always very responsive to any queries we had. This made our stay very easy and enjoyable. We hope to return in the future.

Had a great time at Jane's place. It is in a great location close to the beach and walking trails. Also within walking distance of great restaurants. The house had everything you need for cooking, sleeping and relaxing.

Peaceful and lovely house, the views from the balcony were beautiful. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Nanaimo.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here! Very family friendly - we used the pack'n'play and highchair, as well as the beach toys provided! There were many "kids" cups and plates which made meal time a breeze. The fully enclosed deck was also nice for the kids to play on. There were a couple things that would be nice for a handyman to come work on (tightening up toilet seats/towel rods, etc.) but overall we really enjoyed our stay!

Our family of 5 plus our dog enjoyed our stay at Oceanside Escapes. Johanna and Julie were readily available to answer any questions that we had before and during our stay. The cabin was well-supplied and had a binder listing many local recommendations. It was a short walk to Rathtrevor Beach which we all enjoyed, particularly our dog. All essential amenities and many attractions were nearby. The central air conditioner was especially helpful in keeping the whole cabin cool during the hotter days. We will be back.

The perfect getaway. The house is well kept and fully equipped for a good weekend away. The hot tub, sauna, and water provide activities for all weather. The scenery is breathtaking—thank you for hosting can’t wait to come back!

This was a aboslutley beautiful space! The view is breathtaking and the high windows, wood beams and balaconies make the whole thing quite dreamy. There is also a amazing bathtub on the lower floor that overlooks the ocean which was my happy place. They keep the space very clean and well stocked with the key things you may need to make your stay comfortable (shower ammenities, basic kitchen supplies, great towels). I went with my kid, parents, sister and her baby and were quite comfortable with the three bedrooms and large living room/ kitchen. The fireplace made for a cozy atmosphere in the evenings as you watch the sunset and birds flying overhead. It is also convenientily located 5 minutes from the ferry terminal. The only challenging thing for us was that the home is situated immediately against the street and there is no sidewalk to walk with kids/ to the beach etc. There is also no real backyard for kids to run and play in.

Part of me wants to keep this little piece of heaven a secret but that would be unfair on the helpful, responsive and charming host Tracy. So here goes….. the accommodation itself is 5 star luxury - bedding, pillows, mattress, towels and towelling robes are sumptuous. We slept soooo well! However what this haven of tranquility is really about is location, location, location! It’s the most picturesque and idyllic situation is mind blowing. My shoulders dropped about 2 inches as we soaked in the wood fired hot tub watching seals and sea otters in the water right below us. The fun isn’t just happening in the water though the skies and land have plenty to offer - Golden Eagles, Bald Eagles, Anna’s Hummingbirds, Oyster catchers, a pair of charming Robins, mink and a tiny squirrel made soaking outdoors very entertaining. So if you love the outdoors but really want all the home comforts plus plus - then look no further! We are already planning our next visit.

This was our family's second stay at this house. We absolutely love it! Everyone feels right at home instantly, including the dogs. Libby, the host, is one of the best and makes this place so easy to keep coming back to, and harder to leave. This house is so comfortable and really makes u relax and thoroughly enjoy ur holiday. We love it and will be back again!

You want to go to the lakes this place has got it. You want to go to Pender Hill and walk from your place this place has got it. You want to have a fire and chat with good company this place has got it. You want a tastefully Renod place that your significant other is sure to love this place has got it. Awesome spot. Thank you Sue and Bryon for a great stay! Sue responded to our request on Friday morning at 6am after we had an issue with our previous Airbnb and let us check in early later that day after our last minute booking. It was our first time traveling with our newborn baby and this place was perfect! Highly recommend and thanks again !

We really enjoyed our stay here! The place was super clean, modern, and had everything we needed. The balcony was definitely a highlight , the ocean views were absolutely stunning. Such a peaceful spot to relax. The hosts were great and checked in to make sure we were comfortable. Would totally recommend!

Heather was a great host and the cabin was awesome! I loved the area as it was very quiet and close to Pender harbour. The cabin was well kept and the hot tub was clean and easy to use. I would 100% stay again. The gift basket that was left was another great bonus, sooo appreciated! 😄 Thank you for letting us stay Heather!

The location of this place couldn't be better for exploring the Island and especially for mountain biking (hosts were very accommodating with letting us store/charge our ebikes in their garage during our visit). Very easy access to everything North and South of Nanaimo as well as the city itself. The apartment is very peaceful with your own private garden/sitting area. While Nash and Louise are delightful hosts the real star of this property is Ollie, the most well behaved dog you will ever meet. Ollie greeted us upon our arrival and checked in most mornings to make sure we were well taken care of. Be sure to get Nash and Louise's restaurant recommendations.

Absolutely in love with this place , beautiful interior, super comfortable bed, kitchen fully stocked with useful things for cooking lovers. Beautiful patio with the view, fire pit tanning beds, bbq. Electrical charger for the car was super useful. Also, we forgot a lot of things like picnic bag, beach blanket, Band-Aids, and even shaver. So they found all of this in the house. Thank you Perl for hosting us we definitely will be back

The place was beautiful! Very spacious, we had lots of room for everyone. Having the beach so close was so amazing, my kids loved playing in the sand. The deck overlooking the property was breathtaking, especially with a morning coffee. Host had everything laid out nicely with lots of possible activities.

had a lovely girls trip with friends at Thi's place, beautiful location, garden and home, has everything you need for a relaxing weekend and especially loved sitting on the patio by the fire pit I would definitely go back again!

Pictures couldn't possibly capture how well appointed and perfectly situated this place is- 5 stars!!! You can sit with a coffee on the beautiful deck listening to the birds and watching the boats pass up and down Howe Sound while snow capped coastal mountains frame the posrcard backdrop, amazing! The suite has everything you need and is well laid out with impressive attention to the details: Comfy bed, proper linens, fluffy towels, premium soaps etc. We walked down to the village and it's a 30 minute peacefull walk down the road. Highly reccomened!

We had a gorgeous stay at Kristie's house! The setting is lovely, but you do need a car for getting around. The house has everything you could need.
