Riverlea Retreat Mudgee is a modern and unique country retreat that offers a place to unwind and relax in the heart of the Mudgee wine region.
Consists of a main house with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and a self-catered cottage with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The property can accommodate up to 10 guests.
Situated on 25 acres of scenic land, surrounded by pine hills and stunning views. It is only 15 minutes away from the centre of Mudgee and close to some of the best wineries in the area, such as Logan Wines and Skimstone Wines.
Features a unique double deck swimming pool, where guests can cool down and enjoy the views. It also has an outdoor hot bath, where guests can pamper themselves and sip a glass of wine.
Riverlea Retreat Mudgee is the perfect destination for families or friends who want to escape from the city and experience the country lifestyle. It is a place where guests can breathe fresh air, admire the stars, and reconnect with nature and each other.

We are delighted to welcome you to our beautiful home in the scenic countryside, where we coexist with a variety of animals and insects. Especially during the summer months, it’s sometimes unavoidable for insects to find their way indoors. We kindly ask for your cooperation in keeping the doors and fly screens closed as much as possible to help reduce their presence. Thank you for your understanding and support in maintaining a comfortable environment.

House Rules & Check Out Procedure
We kindly ask you to read our house rules carefully and keep them in mind during your stay.
1. Please always close fly screens and keep windows without fly screens closed. This is the country side with an abundance of spiders, insects and rodents.
2. No large parties or events allowed. (Max 15 people)
3. No smoking allowed inside.
4. Please only flush pee poo and toilet paper down the toilet. Anything else will instantly block our septic system. Our house keepers check the flush on every clean, and if it’s blocked after your stay, your full bond will be deducted to cover the cost of the plumber call out, and or we will seek plumber costs through airBNB/Stays/Riparide.
5. Do not change any settings on the Media Player. (Media player instructions)
6. Pets are allowed, but not in bedrooms and not allowed on any furniture or beds. All pet excrement must be disposed of appropriately. Additional deep clean fees apply for pet stays. (Please keep your pets secure due to a lack of fencing.)
7. Please do not tamper with the solar power system, water filter, pumps or tanks.
8. For your children’s safety, please accompany children at all times on the property and especially in the pool area.
9. Please help top up the pool water for around 15 minutes using the tap and hose located near the pool gate if the pool water level is close to the bottom of the pool water filter box.
10. Please use plastic cups in the swimming pool area. No glass allowed in the pool area.
11. Please do not place drinks or non pool table related objects on the pool table.
12. Please place the fire pit lid on top of the fire pit when retiring for the evening.
13. Please turn off lights, appliances and AC before you go out and when you check out.
CHECK OUT PROCEDURE
1. Please leave property in a neat and tidy state to avoid additional cleaning fees.
2. Please respect check-out times. (If we haven’t already arranged late check out for you. Late check out might be available if there is no other booking on that day, please contact us to find out.)
3. Please load used dishes, cups, cutlery into the dishwasher and start the dishwasher, please put the dishes away back in the cupboards.
4. Please put towels in the laundry basket or leave them in the bathrooms.
5. Please clean the BBQ after use to avoid additional cleaning charges.
6. Please switch off all appliances, lights and aircon.
7. Please move furniture back to its original position if moved.
8. Please put books back, set the pool table and all game boards to be packed away.
9. Please remove rubbish and place all rubbish in the skip bin located at the bottom of the driveway a few meters down from the Pine Hill signage. (Private waste management will sort out the recycling).
10. Please lock all sliding doors and the main doors when checking out completely.
11. Please put keys back in the key safe box next to the cottage entrance.
