Enjoy this unique 1 bedroom/2 bed , 1.5 bath A Frame on the Chocolay River approximately 5 miles from downtown Marquette, just off of HWY M-28. Expect traffic noise. It has aQ bed upstairs with an attached full bath with shower/no tub and a Full size sofa/futon downstairs with a half bath on the main floor. There is a narrow spiral stairway leading upstairs. The washer and dryer and electric sauna are located in the basement which has an outdoor entrance only, accessible by the outdoor stairs.

My best friend and I stayed with our families for the Gwinn Gus Macker weekend and we loved it! The boys fished, rode their bikes and relaxed in the hot tub after a long chill day of playing ball! We were able to sit by the fire and relax with the sound of crickets in the background - we will definitely be back! Maybe with the entire team next time!

Great place to stay if you are looking for something private, peaceful and a bit off the beaten path. Bed was very comfortable and the wood fireplace makes it very cozy. Hosts were very friendly and came with lots of good recommendations for things in the area. Would stay again!

Ishpeming is close to Marquette and relatively close to other beach activities, also close to plenty of other nature and national park walks. Was a great opportunity to get away from it all in the Upper Peninsula.
