The Little House on La Pude

Situated next to an 18th Century mill house and stream, on the Dordogne/Charente border in beautiful countryside. Fantastic base to explore. Enjoy a tranquil escape, only a short drive from local attractions and outdoor activities. The little house has rooms over three levels, with a generous balcony, private patio and use of the large garden. The garden is enclosed to one side and the river flows through on the other side. The river can be accessed for paddling. NB - Strictly no Contractors.

Our mill is on the outskirts of the village of Champagne et Fontaine, in the Southwest of France. The Moulin La Vergne is a newly renovated 18th century water mill located on the river Lizonne. The room is a private flat with all essential amenities and a homely feel, with a private terrace overlooking the historical water run which flows through and around the building. Our location is quiet and rural, offering a peaceful and tranquil opportunity to recharge batteries and unwind.

The house has a dining room, kitchen and toilet on the ground floor and upstairs a balcony with panoramic views, shower room, toilet, a master bedroom and two small bedrooms for three children.

Small private island located between Angoulême and Cognac, on the "La Flow vélo" bike path, in the immediate vicinity of the pretty Bain des Dames beach. House with adjoining garden overlooking the river. Numerous activities on site: swimming pool, kayaks and bicycles, large games room: billiards, table tennis, foosball, darts, board games, toys for children, books, comics... The island is also home to a forest garden which makes it a real oasis for biodiversity!
