Blue boat House Huashan Wooden House is located in Huashan Village, Gukeng Township, Yunlin. Its exterior colour is inspired by the design of Western Australian blue houses, and it is built using rare American cypress wood. It is nestled in the natural surroundings of the mountains. There are several hiking trails in the mountains for climbing. The cabin is not far from Coffee Street, and there are attractions nearby such as the Small Heavenly Staircase and Lovers' Bridge, making it suitable for both adults and children to visit. Around the Lunar New Year, it is also the season when the cherry blossoms bloom; April to June is the firefly season. Everyone is welcome to come here to look for the fireflies. * Use the password "shoiv" (refer to the last photo of the living room). Other things to note Visitors are not allowed. @ Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors (including e-cigarettes). @Illegal activities such as drug use are strictly prohibited, and violators will be reported to the police. @ The wooden house only provides 2 parking spaces. The rest must be parked in the free parking lot outside the community gate (we can help with directions). @ Karaoke is provided and must be finished by 10 pm to avoid disturbing the neighbours. @ The standard is a private rental for 8-12 people, with a maximum of 20 people. For each additional person, there is an extra charge of 1,000 (advance notice required). @ Barbecue grill provided (no cleaning fee, please bring your own barbecue grill net and other supplies). @ Pots for cooking hot pots and a camping gas stove are provided (you need to bring your own small gas cylinder). @ For food hygiene and safety reasons, no condiments are provided. @There is no collection or booking service.

Bamboo House is a traditional southern Chinese courtyard house hidden in bamboo forests. With more than half of a century long history, the building was out of shape until recent years. The owner, Winston Lin returned to his home village and renovated the house he grew up in after his retirement. With careful repairing and construction, the house presents itself with traditional bamboo columns, hinoke beams, white stucco, and red bricks as well as modern floor heating, skylights and bathrooms.
