Holiday rentals with a pool in Guatuso

This is our second time staying at Casa Gisela, we love this home and neighborhood so much.

If you’re the kind of person who wants to be near all the hustle and bustle with restaurants and attractions within close driving distance, move on. But if you enjoy peaceful tranquility, being immersed in nature and farm life, and feeling like you’re with the family you never knew you had, then look no further than Venado Valley Ranch. Farm to table breakfasts and dinners cooked and served by the best host families were delicious. If you’re up for an adventure, please don’t miss the waterfall hike! The kids (and adults) had a great time jumping off the rocks and tree into the pool at the base of the falls. And definitely have a taste of refreshing sugar cane juice fresh from the press. For excursions within an hour drive time, we enjoyed the hot springs, tubing down River Celeste, and—if you’re adventurous and don’t mind getting wet and dirty, the Venado Caves were a lot of fun! I could say so much more about our stay, but I’m running out of characters. We highly recommend!

We had an amazing time at this property! The house was incredible. The views were absolutely breathtaking and made every morning feel special. One of the most memorable moments was when a toucan came to visit us right on the property. We were lucky enough to snap some photos. Hopefully I can upload them here somehow. Everything about the stay exceeded our expectations. Ana was very responsive and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. if you are looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommended and would love to come back.

We had an amazing stay here! The location was easy to find and not too far from the airport. There were definitely lots of local stores and restaurants to visit near by. We recommend Resturante Ross! The views especially early morning were amazing overall we have no complaints. Our favorite part was visiting the farm animals! Oscar was so nice and welcoming.

Awesome facility! It was exactly as described. Very quiet. very private, and very safe. The pool is definitely what stood out the most. It was very relaxing. Norwin thought of everything! He was very helpful. We saw a lot of hummingbirds. The bedroom was ample size with plenty of storage. We enjoyed our stay there immensely and look forward to returning.

Jose, his family and friends were more than welcoming to us from the moment we came to the Airbnb! Quick responses and always there to lend us a hand or guide us to anything we may need! Amazing food at a local restaurant, horseback riding on his land with lots of things to see and learn about! His pool at the Airbnb was absolutely amazing! We loved getting to meet his family members and socializing with them! I would highly recommend this Airbnb to everyone in near the La Fortuna area!!! Words truly can't capture how incredible this property is! We've stayed in many Airbnbs across different locations, but nothing has come close to this experience. The home and grounds are absolutely stunning—but it was the location and our amazing hosts, David and Josie, that made this stay unforgettable. We arrived at the start of rainy season, but it didn’t dampen our stay at all—thoughtful touches like covered walkways and outdoor spaces made it easy to enjoy everything, rain or shine. From the abundant wildlife to the peaceful seclusion, and the wealth of local knowledge they shared, every moment was exceptional! This place is a gem!

I can’t describe how much we loved Jason’s place. The outdoor space was beautiful and so fun to hang up with family. The whimsical decor in each room left me smiling. I have stayed in BnBs abroad and around the US and none have come close to bringing this special.

Where can I start....This is my first time to La Fortuna and we had a great vacation with the help of Gregory. Gregory's is a great host and his property is one of a kind which suits well for La Fortuna environment with lot of nature to enjoy inside his property. He helped in almost everything including recommending a nice Chef Gabriel.

Highly recommended! Cristian is the Most lovely host I have ever met! The room was superb and the view on the vulcano was nice.

This place was great for our group of 4! Santos, the guard was very helpful and friendly, he even brought us fresh coconuts by the pool! Greg the host was very helpful making sure we were good and always responded quickly! The only thing about staying at this Airbnb is to get a car! It is about 20-25 minutes away from the town of La Fortuna, and that’s where most of the sights to see are! Other than that this was a great stay and had everything we needed! Felt very safe!!

Allan and Isabella were so welcoming and helpful - meeting us to ensure we had everything we needed when we arrived and helping us with extra requests - Isabella even came over to help when the oven fuse went on Christmas Day, halfway through cooking our dinner! The house itself is even better than the photos and the location is great. Chachagua has a great little bakery and a butcher and is 20 minutes from la fortuna and all the adventures and amenities there. Wonderful stay for our multigenerational family!
