We had an excellent stay at Mundo Maya. The entire team of staff was incredibly helpful and took great care of us. They went above and beyond to accommodate for our visit to San Jose. This is a very peaceful quiet town with public lake access. Incredibly dreamy, looking forward to my return. The host areanged transportation for us with one of their staff, and we were able to visit Flores island and catch a shuttle to Tikal easily.

We enjoyed the stay very much! The staff were really nice and welcoming. The cabins themselves were comfortable and clean. The finca was beautiful and relaxing. Definitely a cool spot to stay.

This place was great, 3 nice large bedrooms, all with their own nice bathrooms, and a cool lil 1/2 bath next to kitchen. Kitchen is VERY well equipped, and the immediate area has LOTS of dining options, and easily walkable to all of Antigua. Hostess was also very flexible with us. Would definitely stay again if available.

They were very accommodating and provided helpful advice considering the events that were going on in the town (we were there for Holy Week). We also brought our dog and they were more than welcoming.

This is really a magical place. My favorite is at night you can hear the crickets and it's so peaceful. It's off the hippie highway so it's a bit quieter but it's still very very close to it. The bed is comfortable and the linens are clean and fresh there's a lot of space in the room so I never felt cramped. The shower is hot with good pressure. There's fresh filtered water in the room too!

This was my second stay at Alice Guesthouse and I will never stay anywhere else in El Remate. Natalie and the rest of the caretakers and staff are all incredibly accommodating and willing to coordinate anything you may want to do in the area. We went on a stellar horseback ride that she arranged the day before, having the horses come right to the guesthouse at whatever time we wanted. The food and bar is also wonderful with plenty of selections and high quality. Truly a hidden paradise :)

We loved this place. The location could not be any better; on a quiet street, right on the lake, but just one easy, flat block to the main street in town and the dock for boats to other towns. They have their own dock, down a charming path thru a garden filled with citrus trees. The dock sits by itself, with not another dock or structure within 100 yards, and with a fantastic view of the lake. Our room was basic, but large, very comfortable and with excellent A/C. Staff was VERY responsive and friendly, breakfast was yummy and the property is lovely and well-maintained. If we return to Atitlan, I will 100% book this place again. My only regret is that we did not take the time to use the pool and hot tub

La communication est excellente merci pour votre réactivité concernant nos demandes. L’emplacement a moins de 5 minutes de la place et proche décès restaurants et épiceries. La grande piscine est très agréable avec nombreux transats et hamac. Un petit coin cuisine dans la chambre qui fait son travail. Les lits sont confortables. Très bon séjour merci

If you are going to El Estor or anywhere on Lake Izabel you should stay here. It's a great place with very friendly people. The water is right in front of the hotel and there is a pool. It is an easy walk to get to the center of town with all the restaurants and street food. It really is beautiful here. Marvin was awesome and very kind.

A+ Host, would stay again if I would be in the area.

We loved our stay, the room was awesome. The pool was great! The grounds were very nice. It was quiet, private and peaceful. Close to the beach. We had some difficulty with directions, but Lesly took care of it quickly. There was a problem with the A/C and that got remedied quickly also. The lady taking care of the place was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and we will be back and can recommend it to others.

la casa muy bonita con todo lo necesario, una piscina impecable y grande, cerca de la playa, nos la pasamos muy bien. El anfitrión respondió muy rápido y fue bastante accesible ya que llegamos un poquito tarde por el tráfico. 100/10 excelente todo!!!

Très bonne adresse pour une étape, chambre impeccable, restaurant attenant appartenant à la même famille et une piscine importante avec cette chaleur ! Santiago et Anthony sont très sympathiques et ont répondu à mes questions. Je recommande cette adresse-étape !

This was a wonderful place to stay within walking distance of everything in Antigua. Angel and his family were wonderful and so helpful to us during our stay. Cannot recommend this enough!

Staying at Ruth’s is like staying with family. She is an absolutely delightful host who is loving, kind, easy to be with and also makes excellent breakfast. The colonial house is gorgeous. Rooms are spotless clean. I got an opportunity to meet some of Ruth’s family which was an honor. Guests gather together for breakfast that Ruth prepares fresh every morning, making it a communal space and a true bed and breakfast tradition that is rare to find. I would highly recommend!!

La habitación # 8 es mágica. Tiene vistas al lago preciosas, grandes ventanales, moderna, con sillas en el balcón si deseas disfrutar al exterior. En la mañana te saludan muchos pajaritos, y en la noche escuchas su canto y las olas del lago. Me gusta el silbido del tren. Los jardines son hermosos, todo el personal del hotel te colabora y te hace sentir como en casa. El desayuno es exquisito y variado. Me guardaron las maletas al llegar y el dia de la salida me sirvieron el desayuno una hora antes, asi podia asistir a los rituales de la pascua que iniciaban temprano. Tambien la señora administradora me ayudó con la empresa de lanchas en el idioma local, para que me recogieran en el muelle del hotel. Si te gusta caminar puedes llegar al centro del pueblo en 10 minutos o tomas un tuktuk Q10 muy economico. Tambien es muy seguro caminar hasta el hotel. Este hotel es maravilloso, regresaria mil y mil veces mas.

Muy buen lugar, a pesar que hubo un pequeño inconveniente con la reservación, resolvieron de forma inmediata y de gran forma. El lugar muy acogedor, cómodo y limpio. El personal muy atento y amable, la ubicación ideal, justo en el centro, con todo lo necesario relativamente cerca, solo como recomendación es ideal buscar parqueo cercano o llegar temprano para encontrar frente al hotel. En resumen buena experiencia, sin duda repetíamos.

Casa Ramona is a terrific base for your stay here; the staff are very kind and helpful (e.g. they arranged lunchboxes for us and our kids when we had an early.morning flight to catch) and the breakfast, coffee, and pastries are delicious. If you're coming to the island by bus from elsewhere, it is a very short walk from where the shuttles drop (a huge plus after a long trip from Belize or Guatemala City). The bedroom and bathroom were immaculate and the common spaces very cosy.

Comfortable room in a quiet zone of San Pedro, 5 minutes by walk from the main street with all the restaurants and bars. The room and the bathroom are clean. Karolina gave me every single information I needed, she was very kind.
