This place was OUTSTANDING 10/10 experience. Would insist on telling anyone I know who visits Costa Rica to stay here. Wonderful having the restaurant just a few steps from our door, and the surroundings were incredible- lots of wildlife sightings just on the property as well as tons of fresh fruit growing. Only down side is yes there are some bugs because you are in the jungle, but if you can get past that, it’s the perfect place to stay.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary in a private, super quiet setting, surrounded by nature.

Beautiful accommodation in the middle of nature We loved our stay. The house is beautiful, decorated with many unique and charming details. The natural environment is spectacular, with incredible views of the mountains. We really enjoyed the outdoor deck, especially the jacuzzi and also the fireplace at night, a very special experience! Everything was perfect, we had a great time and we leave with beautiful memories. We would definitely come back!

What a gorgeous space! The large room was the perfect spot for us to stop during our road trip. The bed was so comfortable and the kitchen has everything we needed. Natalia and Don Miguel were wonderful to deal with. The farm is located in a perfect place in the mountains to see the country, the view was spectacular! We were happy to be travelling in a 4x4, however the road to the farm is mostly paved. There are sign outlining where to go, it was easy to find with the instructions. We would stay again. We really liked it. It's in a private place and surrounded by nature, perfect for relaxing. The cabin is comfortable, cozy and quite spacious. Everything was clean and well taken care of. Overall, it was a good experience and I would go again.

We stayed at this cottage for the weekend with my family and the experience was just spectacular. The place is too nice, surrounded by nature and with one of the best views of the Central Valley we have seen. The cabin is very well equipped, all spotless and thoughtful down to the last detail. It breathes tranquility and feels a real connection to the environment. It is located very close to the Barva Volcano, which makes it ideal for those who enjoy the mountain and the fresh air. Definitely a place we want to go back to. 100% recommended!

The most beautiful and peaceful place to stay.

Sublime, new and very clean place. The quality of the facilities was impeccable. We made a bbq on wood fire at sunset and visited the coffee plantation. I'd definitely go back.

The cabin was very cozy, everything was very tidy and clean. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need and in general very well equipped (good blankets and extras). The place is highly recommended for a quiet stay

We loved our stay here! It felt like such a unique little spot - fun to be on a coffee farm with horses and cattle in view. The place itself was cozy and I love how it was decorated. I definitely could have stayed longer. The option to buy breakfast in the morning was such a nice treat. Sound travels easily here - you could easily hear the crickets, birds and horses outside. I didn't really mind even though I usually prefer it quiet. Overall, great stay and a fun and unique place!

María José was such a great host! The house is very cute and homey. The area is peaceful and has a beautiful view. It is an old wooden cabin, so there were a lot of spiders. Also don’t leave any food out, we had a little ant problem. María José was very kind and honest in telling us she wouldn’t be able to clean the place before we got there but we told her it was fine, we just needed a place to sleep. We sprayed some insect repellent and didn’t see much of the insects after that. Other than the bugs, it was a great stay! Thank you so much María José for being so flexible with us! We would definitely stay again!

The place is beautiful, private and relaxing. The ease of bringing your pets is a plus. The host is very attentive and kind. The pool is very enjoyable because of the hot weather. Any car can enter, but most of the street is unpaved and you have to go slowly, so take that into account. Otherwise, it's a beautiful place! Highly recommended!

We LOVED staying there. It had awesome views, Fabiola was very responsive, the fireplace was a highlight and the kitchen was well equiped. We explored during the day then came home to a fire, cooked dinner and played games in front of the fire. Will definitely go back!!!

The place is dreamy, full of nature and peace. The house has all the amenities that are needed, extremely clean and tidy. The gentleman who looks after the property is very friendly and nice as well.

The cabin is in an incredible place, surrounded by nature and with a lot of privacy. Ideal for a getaway from the city without having to handle a lot of distance. Approx 10-15 min from downtown Barva.
