Holiday rentals with a patio in Grundy County

This apartment is beautiful inside and out. The place was clean, with everything needed (laundry, stocked kitchen, shampoo/conditioner/soap). The bed is comfortable (with a soft sink to it). The decor is beautiful and more than a typical airbnb, making it feel homey. The bathroom is modern and had plenty of towels. The yard is well kept and peaceful. Parking is right up to the front door (it’s some gravel over grass, so it’s hard to see). The place is near the end of the road, with a subdivision at the end (there’s more traffic than expected, but it’s mostly quiet). It’s worth the price, and a beautiful, peaceful place to stay.

What a cute little studio with everything you’ll need for a quick trip. It was private & gave the appearance of being secluded even though you weren’t. The studio was clean however there were ants on the counter in the kitchen. We did not cook so not a big deal for us. I think with the woods near it’s to be expected to have some insects. Everything else was very clean. You can hear the cars drive by & if anyone is staying next door you can hear talking through the walls but it wasn’t a bother to us. Being able to walk to the welcome center of the state park was an added bonus. You can also walk to the 1 mile nature walk at the welcome center. We drove 20 miles to South Pittsburgh to the Lodge Museum & Lodge flagship store. Enjoyed dinner at the Depot Cafe (staple in Monteagle) & Papa Ron’s Pizza & Italian Steakhouse. Very friendly staff at both!

Location, location, location! Perfect location to stay for a show at the caverns. The place was neat, clean, had a big comfy king sized bed. We would definetly stay here again!

I would absolutely come back! The space was so comfortable and beautiful, it felt like being in a Nancy meyers setting for the weekend!

Had a great stay at Emily’s suite! Easy check in and the suite was clean and cozy. Our stay was peaceful and quiet. Appreciated her accommodating our 10 month old with a play pen as well! She was a very nice and responsive host.

The Cedar home provided us a great week of relaxation and fun with our family. The furniture and beds are very comfortable and the location was amazing. Very peaceful and conveniently located to town. The owners provided everything for us to have an easy and enjoyable stay with our pups. There is a large fenced in run out back and they even provided beds and furniture covers so we didn’t have to haul all that. We had a little of stormy weather so we spent time playing games and I especially enjoyed the owners collection of vinyl music and player. Definitely hope to enjoy this beautiful cabin again in the future.

Excellent host and home! Absolutely beautiful inside and out! My main love was the swinging bed! 2 nights spent and it was the best sleep ever!! Only thing I wish this property had was a hottub! The back decks are incredible, they would be even better with a hottub. Overall, a 5 out of 5 stars!!

Our stay was absolutely amazing for a festival we went to at the Caverns. Great waking up to that view, and can’t beat the location!

Tara's place was in a private serene setting. The home has a lovely outdoor covered porch that faces the woods. You can sit outside even in the rain. The house was comfortable and the kitchen is large enough to cook. We would stay here again in a heartbeat if we are ever in the area again!

We enjoyed the tiny home in its peaceful setting amongst nature! The rustic modern design makes you feel right at home! We were visiting Sewanee so the location was great for our needs! Having trails and a waterfall on the property was a special treat! The tiny home is nestled next to the woods and surrounded by lush beautiful plants. Special touches were appreciated like gentle hand soap and a well laid out kitchen. The design layout and large windows creates a light and airy feel. Our stay was very peaceful and relaxing!

Carrie was great and helpful! The townhouse was clean, very organized and neat. Very new homes and less than a 3-5 minute drive from the downtown scene and restaurants on our to do list. Traffic was always a breeze as well. There are lots of stairs, so be prepared. Yes, the trains are close and frequent. They are also easy to drown out and by mid-day on day 2, we knew what the noise was and it was much less of a bother. Plus, we were celebrating my daughter's graduation and she LOVES trains. It was a plus for her. Overall a great stay! I would book again.

Our stay was great! The condo was bright, clean, and modern. It had all the appliances and pots/pans needed to eat in. Dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry soap, and dryer sheets were all provided as well as shampoo, conditioner and body wash in both showers. The only issue we had was outside noise around 2:00 to 3:00 am when people were going home from a night out and shouting, yelling, and revving their engines 3 of the 4 nights we stayed. (I think there is a bar a few blocks away) - Obviously Davey has no control over that, so I would suggest bringing a noise machine to mask any outside sounds. Other than that, it was an amazing stay.

This doll of a host was so gracious and gave us immediate access when we arrived at an odd time. Their home is gorgeous with just the loveliest surroundings. Make sure to take a few minutes to watch her bird feeder! Cardinals, bluebirds and finches 🥰

Rained all week so indoor activities and restaurants were important. Host came through with great recommendations. Chattanooga is close to home, so I will be back!

My husband and I enjoyed a long weekend at Jeremy’s place. It was very clean and had lots of linens and cleaning supplies. Location was great and very walkable to coffee shops and restaurants. A brewery next door that had amazing breakfast tacos and maybe 5 min walk to the Chatt Choo Choo. I would recommend staying here !

I had the pleasure of staying at Ashley’s condo this past week. The location was fantastic - super walkable and somehow not noisy. Both beds are very comfortable. The condo was clean and spacious with tall ceilings. I would absolutely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was close to everything we wanted to do and a short 10-15 minute drive to the caves, aquarium and other attractions in the area. Davey was very quick to respond to any questions we had.
