Enjoy quiet days in a cozy cabin with a pleasant fireplace, a new wood-fired sauna and an outdoor tub (from May to October) that is perfect for relaxing after hikes in the mountains, cross-country skiing or a day in the countryside. The cabin is large, spacious and open. The surrounding area has good hiking conditions both on foot, by skis and by bike. There is a possibility of hunting and fishing. Right outside the door there is a well-developed network of well-groomed ski slopes. There is a short distance to the alpine resorts in Trysilfjellet (25 minutes) and Sälen (35 minutes).

Come and enjoy our new mountain villa with close proximity to unique nature experiences all seasons. We have built everything in our house ourselves with unique materials and craftsmanship. The house is located on the upper Storsätern with proximity to Grövelsjön, ski resort, grocery store, restaurants, etc. Hiking trails and trails can be reached directly adjacent to the area. Welcome to Mikkelbu

Welcome to Mikkelbu, a sheltered family-friendly holiday home with plenty of space and good standard in proximity to nature with a private road. The cabin is located just 50 meters from a sheltered sandy beach and fishing lake with trout. The place is known for good fishing in summer and winter. There are also no visible neighboring cabins, the nearest cabin is about 300 meters away. The place was part of the renovation program "Adventurous renovation" in 2019 and has a very special atmosphere and great furnishings.

It is about 30 minutes by car to Idrefjäll for skiing etc. Also visit Sweden's highest waterfall where you can also see the world's oldest trees, both of which are located in Fulufjället with fantastic hiking trails in wonderful nature.
