Each pod is open plan with a kitchenette, seating dining, sleeping area and shower room. 3/4 bed and sofa-bed provides accommodation for up to 4. Gael is a modern cabin on a working croft, which captures uninterrupted views over Portree bay, Ben Tianavaig and the Cuillin hills in the far distance. The cabin itself has a full height atrium which includes a functional kitchenette, seating area, log-burner and a three-piece bathroom suite. The mezzanine level is accessed by a wooden staircase featuring a comfortable double bed. Situated just off the Scorrybreach trail this is the perfect launchpad for your Skye adventure.

Make some memories at this unique small house on a private croft hosted by Grant & Lorna who are from Harris and live 300m next door to the cabin. Our cabin has 2 bedrooms with 2 double beds, and a large open plan living space with kitchen. We are 10 minutes from Tarbert and 30 mins from the west side beaches. A wood burning stove will keep you warm in the evenings. A large wrap around balcony is lovely for sitting outside and watching the seals and otters in the bay.

The Little Hemp Cabin

The Little Hemp Cabin sits on our croft in Breakish, just outside Broadford in South Skye. It’s a small, self-contained space surrounded by open ground, big skies and shifting Highland weather. Built from hemp and timber, the cabin feels naturally warm and calm. The walls regulate temperature well, so it stays comfortable year-round without feeling sealed or artificial. Inside, the layout is simple and uncluttered, with everything you need and nothing you don’t.
